Citadel: Honey Bunny
If you enjoyed both the original Citadel series featuring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, as well as this year’s spin-off Citadel: Diana, then I highly recommend taking a look at the newest addition to the franchise, Citadel: Honey Bunny. This third series is set to premiere on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024 with all 7 episodes available on Prime Video. With its intriguing storyline, I think you’ll find it as captivating as the previous ones! Here’s a brief summary of what to expect:
When stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan) recruits struggling actress Honey (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) for a side gig, they are hurled into a high-stakes world of action, espionage, and betrayal. Years later, as their dangerous past catches up, the estranged Honey and Bunny must reunite and fight to protect their young daughter Nadia.
Cross
Among the Prime Video series I’m eagerly anticipating this month, none excites me more than “Cross,” which will debut on Thursday, November 14th, releasing all 8 episodes at once on the streaming platform. The series is an adaptation of the books penned by renowned author James Patterson.
Featuring Aldis Hodge as the main character, this gripping crime drama presents us with a detective who is also a forensic psychologist. He possesses a unique ability to understand the minds of killers and their victims, enabling him to track down and apprehend the perpetrators, according to the description.
This show’s cast includes Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold. Notably, the series has already been given a green light for another season!
Cruel Intentions
Do you recall the beloved movie “Cruel Intentions,” released in 1999 and featuring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, and Ryan Phillippe? Now, Amazon Prime Video is attempting a contemporary retelling of the tale. I must admit, I get apprehensive with such adaptations, but I’m open to giving it a try. The new series “Cruel Intentions” debuts Thursday, Nov. 21, airing all eight episodes at once – another exciting binge-watch opportunity!
The show features Sarah Catherine Hook portraying Caroline Merteuil, Zac Burgess as Lucien Belmont, Savannah Lee Smith in the role of Annie Grover, Sara Silva playing Cece Carroway, John Harlan Kim as Blaise Powell, Khobe Clarke as Scott Russell, Sean Patrick Thomas as Professor Hank Chadwick, and Brooke Lena Johnson as Beatrice Worth.
The movie, titled Cruel Intentions, revolves around two ruthless step-siblings, Caroline and Lucien, who are both students at Manchester College. Their primary focus is on maintaining their high status and staying at the pinnacle of social hierarchy. When a severe initiation incident takes place, they will stop at nothing to preserve their elite position. This even extends to seducing Annie Grover, the daughter of the Vice President of the United States.
