Megan Thee Stallion flashes cleavage in plunging silk gown at In Her Words documentary premiere
As a fervent admirer of the dynamic and resilient Megan Thee Stallion, I find myself deeply moved by her recent decision to take legal action against those who have relentlessly harassed, cyberbullied, and spread misinformation about her personal and professional life. Having witnessed her meteoric rise to stardom with the smash single “Savage,” I can only imagine the pressure she must feel to maintain a perfect image in the public eye.
On Wednesday evening, Megan Thee Stallion stole the limelight during the debut of her documentary titled “Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Own Words.
29-year-old music sensation, known as the Savage hitmaker, made a striking appearance at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, following a lawsuit against a blogger for cyberstalking. She was absolutely radiant in a deep purple, plunging dress.
The dress closely fitted her figure, emphasizing a bold neckline, as she styled her trademark dark tresses into an elegant updo and added sophistication with sparkling diamond dangle earrings.
At the red carpet event, she paused for a photo op with Nneka Onuorah, the film’s director, who looked fabulous in a trendy pantsuit accessorized with an impressive collection of diamonds.
The movie details Megan’s remarkable journey and determination, highlighting her progression from her hit single Big Ole Freak in 2019 up until the challenges posed by the Tory Lanez shooting incident.
As stated in the formal summary, ‘In Her Words’ presents Megan’s most intimate experiences in a compelling manner, enabling fans to truly understand and connect with the genuine Megan.
As a lifestyle guide, I’d admit that initially, I hesitated to embark on this project as I found myself engulfed in a deep emotional turbulence, preferring to keep my struggles hidden from view.
I wasn’t feeling good at all. More days than not, I struggled to get out of bed. I didn’t have the desire to be seen by others since they often perceive me as a very strong person.
However, I grew weary of others narrating my tale, and I understood that it was essential for me to assume the reins myself.
Initially garnering attention in 2018, Megan Thee Stallion burst onto the scene with her debut EP, Tina Snow, and the popular song Big Ole Freak β marking her initial entry into the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
As your trusted lifestyle guide, I’m sharing my story with you β the ups and downs of my journey in the vibrant world of hip-hop, a path that was skillfully navigated by my mom, Holly Thomas. However, in 2019, this journey took an unexpected turn when my beloved mother succumbed to brain cancer, shaking the very foundation of my personal and professional life.
2020 saw her stardom skyrocket due to the hit song “Savage,” which garnered acclaim following a popular remix collaboration with BeyoncΓ©, eventually winning a Grammy award.
Meanwhile, despite her public success, Megan was dealing with private struggles, such as the aftermath of the July 2020 shooting episode involving rapper Tory Lanez.
In August 2023, Lanez received a 10-year prison sentence following his conviction for shooting Megan in the foot during an argument, which sadly signified a significant and hurtful turn in the artist’s professional journey.
In the latest movie, Megan ponders over the difficult periods in her life, acknowledging feelings of vulnerability and doubt as to whether she could proceed.
She confided in People, “I gave myself a good kick, literally in the backside. What I mean is, I got up and moving again. I’m still me, but I’m not at my best, mind you. However, I can assure you that things aren’t as bad as they were before.
Just hours prior to the debut of “In Her Words,” Megan filed a lawsuit against YouTuber and social media influencer Milagro Gramz, claiming that she served as a ‘verbal spokesperson’ or ‘puppet’ for Tory Lanez, who is accused of shooting a rapper in 2020.
On Wednesday, Megan Thee Stallion’s legal representative, Alex Spiro, claimed that blogger Milagro Elizabeth Cooper (also known as Gramz) masterminded a scheme to disparage, diminish, insult, and disseminate untruthful statements about the rapper, in relation to Lanez.
The lawsuit alleges that Gramz went so far as to share a ‘deepfake pornographic video’ of Megan, which Spiro argues violates Florida laws against ‘altered sexual depictions’ of individuals.
Β
In an interview with DailyMail.com, Megan made clear her belief that it’s past due for bloggers to face consequences for a long history of harassment, cyberbullying, and spreading false information about both her personal and professional life.
She openly voiced her annoyance towards the unjustified criticism of her personality, which was instigated by misleading stories spread by individuals posing as reporters but are actually bloggers in disguise.
She stated, ‘Such actions are not tolerated, and those involved should realize that there will be consequences for carelessly spreading misinformation and damaging allegations.’
Responding to the lawsuit, Gramz confirmed on X that he’s been notified by Alex Spiro acting for his client Megan Thee Stallion that a legal action has been initiated against him.
