Lleyton and Bec Hewitt’s sprawling $4.3million Gold Coast mansion is set to hit auction… with overseas buyers keen to snap up the luxury pad
As an ardent fan of Lleyton Hewitt and his family, I can hardly contain my excitement as their stunning Gold Coast mansion goes under the hammer this weekend! Having followed Lleyton’s illustrious tennis career and Bec’s captivating acting journey, it’s fascinating to witness their life off the court.
This weekend, tennis champion Lleyton Hewitt and his actress spouse Bec are crossing their fingers for a successful sale, as their spacious property on the Gold Coast is set to go under the hammer at auction.
Earlier this month, the couple put up for sale a breathtaking four-bedroom house they had bought three years ago for approximately $4.3 million.
This spacious four-bedroom, three-bathroom home can be found in the highly desired area of Burleigh Heads, a location in Queensland where the typical house value surpasses $5 million.
Agent Carol Carter from Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty hinted at foreign buyers showing keenness before the upcoming auction.
She mentioned that there’s been considerable attention towards the prominent real estate, even attracting potential buyers from Germany and the UK.
Carol shared with realestate.com.au that there’s been plenty of curiosity, but it’s challenging to gauge the level of interest since individuals often prefer to maintain privacy about their decisions.
However, we’ve received an overwhelming amount of inquiries not only from other states but particularly from Sydney and Melbourne, and there’s also significant local curiosity.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m keeping a close eye on the real estate market, and I must say, Becca and Lleyton are eagerly anticipating a substantial profit from their investment in Burleigh Heads, given the recent reports suggesting house prices have soared by an impressive 34.7% since they bought in 2021.
This stunning property is nestled on a spacious 539 square meter plot and offers three generously sized bedrooms with en-suites on the top floor, highlighted by an opulent master suite.
This grand bedroom boasts a personal skylight and offers a freestanding stone bathtub, as well as built-in heating, providing it with a touch of exclusive opulence.
It was Gold Coast interior design studio Kira Kira who crafted the refined and unique aesthetics that make this grand estate stand out.
Additionally appealing aspects are an expansive combined kitchen area, a sizable outdoor swimming pool set in the ground, and a convenient position near numerous retail and culinary facilities.
The stunning design was influenced by the luxurious homes you’d find in Palm Springs, a renowned resort city in California.
The space boasts American oak hardwood floors, soaring six-meter-tall ceilings, reminiscent of an Italian piazza with terrazzo tiles, and stunning stone accent walls.
The real estate became well-known due to a brief sensation in 2020 when it was initially put up for sale, causing a surge of interest as numerous prospective buyers rushed to view its listing online.
Since the year 2005, Lleyton and Becca have been husband and wife. They are blessed with three children – Mia, who is now 18 years old, Ava at 13, and their son, Cruz, aged 16.
After getting married at the iconic Sydney Opera House, Bec and Lleyton, along with their kids, decided to move to the beautiful island of Nassau, located in the Bahamas.
They purchased a $3.8million villa in the Old Fort Bay estate but moved back to Australia permanently in 2016.
Lately, their daughter Mia has been sharing the limelight, being part of the indie-folk duo Father’s Favorite alongside her partner.
In August, the band played their initial concert, and it seems that Bec, Mia’s ex-Home and Away co-star and mother, has a strong interest in guiding Mia towards the correct path musically.
Although Bec is predominantly recognized for her role as Hailey Smith Lawson in Home and Away from 1998 to 2005, the actress ventured briefly into pop music as well.
Following her success from TV appearances, Bec launched a self-titled solo album in 2002, and her first single “All Seats Taken” reached the tenth spot on the ARIA charts.
Despite receiving a mix of positive and negative feedback, her album ultimately didn’t sustain her music career. In fact, by 2004, she had severed ties with record label Warner Music, marking the apparent conclusion to her musical journey at that time.
A source shared with New Idea that Bec is determined to help her daughter navigate the potential challenges faced by novice and inexperienced artists.
According to the source, Bec is skilled at handling difficult individuals and unscrupulous supervisors. The source also mentioned that Bec prefers Mia avoiding some errors from her early professional days, such as excessive optimism regarding certain job opportunities.
