5 must-watch shows on Disney+ in November 2024

As a seasoned parent who’s been through countless cartoons and shows with my little ones, I must say that Disney+ has always managed to keep us entertained and educated. The upcoming lineup is no exception!

Following the thrill of Halloween-themed releases, Disney+ might be slowing down slightly in terms of new content offerings. However, there’s plenty of excellent television series worth exploring instead.

Typically, Disney+ offers content suitable for various age groups. Whether you’re seeking a show for a peaceful evening after the children are asleep, or engaging material for preschoolers during meal prep, Disney+ has got you covered.

We have this list in release date order, as it’s impossible to compare the shows!

Kindergarten: The Musical

Are you looking for some entertainment suitable for the kids in the family? Disney+ offers a solution, beginning with five episodes of the musical series “Kindergarten: The Musical“. This show centers around Berti, a young character who is embarking on their first school experience.

Kindergarten can be quite intimidating for many young children, especially those who haven’t attended daycare before. This is because it’s an entirely new environment with unfamiliar faces. The thought of being away from mom or dad might seem scary. To help them get accustomed, why not watch a few episodes together with your preschooler? That way, they can have an idea of what to expect when they start school. And just like Berti, they too will feel comfortable and ready!

Kindergarten: The Musical is on Disney+ on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

SuperKitties

For children who adore PAW Patrol and fancy a change, SuperKitties could be the show for them! Coming soon to Disney+, this Disney Junior series sees cats taking on heroic roles.

Ginny, Sparks, Bitsy, and Buddy are adorable and snuggly kittens at times, but they’re also clever and courageous. In times of danger, they transform into the SuperKitties and defend the city. This is an excellent series for children to learn about the importance of kindness and bravery.

Four episodes of the series arrive on Monday, Nov. 11.

Dancing with the Stars

In November, fresh installments of “Dancing with the Stars” will be released. However, there won’t be a new episode on Tuesday, November 5th. That night is Election Night, and major networks will focus on Election coverage. Since “Dancing with the Stars” gets broadcast simultaneously, it means no new episode will air on the streaming service that day.

The show will be back the following week. Get ready for Tuesday, Nov. 12.

The Stanford Prison Experiment: Unlocking the Truth

During a two-week period in 1971, a team of 24 male students conducted an experiment to study the impact of specific situations on how prisoners might respond and behave. They created a simulated prison environment where some of the students took on the roles of guards while others assumed the roles of inmates.

Wrapping up the study after only a week, we now delve into uncovering its reasons and results. In this three-part exploration, we’ll examine the experiment closely and hear from the participants who took on the roles of prisoners and guards to gain insights about the kind of environment that was formed.

All three episodes are available on Thursday, Nov. 14.

Mickey and Minnie’s Christmas Carols

Towards the end of November, you’ll often find people being swept up in the holiday spirit for Christmas. Consequently, it’s no wonder that a fresh series is released – “Mickey and Minnie’s Christmas Carols”, which consists of five short stories centered around various carols.

In these short clips, various Disney characters appear. It’s delightful to join your children and share the singing experience with them. Suitable for everyone, but it’s the little ones at home who will cherish these moments the most. So, let’s make some fun-filled memories together that they’ll adore!

Mickey and Minnie’s Christmas Carols are on Disney+ on Saturday, Nov. 30.
