Céline Dion is planning a return to the stage after a long break due to health issues. She’s announced a series of concerts in Paris in September and October of 2026, marking her comeback to performing.
As many fans are aware, Céline Dion has been limited to performing only one show since receiving a diagnosis of stiff person syndrome in 2022. This rare autoimmune condition affects the nervous system, causing painful and prolonged muscle stiffness and difficulty with movement.
In a social media update about her upcoming Paris concerts, Céline Dion shared how eager she is to perform. She said she’s feeling healthy, strong, and excited, though understandably a bit nervous too. She also mentioned she’s been taking care of her health and is now able to sing and even do some dancing again.
Céline Dion is returning to performing with a run of shows in Paris in the fall of 2026
The Canadian singer’s most recent performance was at the opening of the 2024 Paris Olympics. She had to cancel a planned appearance at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest due to a health issue. It’s currently unclear if that health issue was connected to SPS.
