There is a lot of anger about how hard it is to take on Gigantamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO.

Moreover, each Power Spot generated a Gigantamax Pokemon every hour. The constraints on Max Particles imply that Trainers can engage in only a few battles per day without spending extra money. In contrast to Raids, when there is no organized group, these conditions are prevalent. In large cities, people tend to gather where a Raid Egg is about to hatch unknowingly. However, for Gigantamax Pokemon, players today find themselves scattered across the map, battling at random locations. Consequently, players are not naturally concentrating in specific spots.

Reports indicate that over the weekend, player lobbies with a maximum of 40 players were unable to defeat Gigantamax Pokémon. It appears that the significant difference in success is due to whether trainers have boosted their Max Moves, such as activating healing and protective moves like Max Guard and Max Spirit.

Is there a possibility that Niantic will modify or update Gigantamax Max Battles in the near future? It seems improbable for any changes to occur this coming Sunday, but we can expect the introduction of Gigantamax Gengar next weekend, and Gigantamax Toxtricity during the GO Wild Area event.

One common suggestion is for Pokémon GO to allow Trainers to team up remotely. That could be through an invite system, or through Power Spots pooling lobbies.

This setup enables trainers who desire to manage extensive in-person gatherings to do so effectively, while at the same time offering an opportunity for trainers based in rural areas to engage in these activities as well.
