OA's past gives the team a tip in FBI season 7, episode 3 (Preview)

As a gamer who’s spent countless hours solving mysteries and outsmarting villains in my favorite games, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement as I delve into the upcoming episode of FBI Season 7. The bombings in Queens have me on edge, and the usual suspects – gang warfare – seem too simple for this series.

If a string of explosions occurs in Queens, the FBI suspects it’s just gang-related violence. But what if it’s something far more perilous in the seventh season, third episode of FBI?

Last time around, I had an unexpected visit from an old acquaintance from my past. This fellow was none other than Guy Lockard, who used to be a Ranger just like me. These days, though, he’s switched gears and works in private security instead. The finale of the episode hinted at the lengths he’d go to obtain the information he desired, and it turned out he needed OA to create a distraction for a waiter at a restaurant so that he could surreptitiously plant a listening device.

Could this bug be the thing that helps in the upcoming case? He seems to have some information.

Someone from OA’s past helps in FBI season 7, episode 3

In the upcoming installment, we’ll witness a string of explosions occurring in Queens. Initially, one might suspect it could be related to turf wars among local gangs. Given the city’s context, this would be a plausible assumption. However, the FBI will likely focus their initial investigations on potential local causes.

Here’s my attempt at paraphrasing in first-person perspective as a gamer:

In the latest episode, Scola’s quest for a suitable partner persists, and I’m relieved that instead of filling Tiffany’s shoes immediately, they’re taking time to find someone who aligns well with Scola. After all, Tiffany is irreplaceable, so it’s essential to observe the efforts involved in finding a compatible partner.

Check out the promo and synopsis for FBI season 7, episode 3:

After a series of targeted bombings in Queens, the team fears a citywide gang war is imminent — until a tip from OA’s old Army buddy, Clay, directs their attention to an unexpected and powerful foe; Scola continues to struggle to find a new partner.

FBI airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
