Is Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in Venom: The Last Dance?

As a long-time comic book fan who has grown up with both Spider-Man and Venom, I must confess that I was eagerly anticipating their much-hyped encounter in Venom: The Last Dance. Having been teased with their close encounters in the MCU credit scenes, it seemed only a matter of time before they would finally meet face to face.

It was anticipated that perhaps in the last Venom film, Venom: The Last Dance, we might finally witness the highly-anticipated encounter between Venom and Spider-Man.

In the post-credits scenes of both “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Eddie Brock and Venom made their appearances within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the midst of their discussion, they were abruptly returned to their world, with intentions to visit New York City to meet Spider-Man. However, they’ve never had a face-to-face encounter with him, although they only caught a glimpse of him in a news report during the end credits of Venom 2.

It was anticipated that these character interactions might culminate in their confrontation, potentially in the forthcoming Spider-Man 4 or possibly Venom 3.

With the release of “Venom 3” in theaters, there’s now clarity on whether Tom Holland’s Spider-Man appears in the film. If you’re eagerly anticipating the answer, we’ve got you covered!

Is Spider-Man in Venom 3?

As a gaming enthusiast, let me clarify that I won’t be dropping by for a surprise appearance as Spider-Man in “Venom: The Last Dance”. There’s absolutely no whisper or indication of such an event taking place throughout the storyline.

In the opening of the film, there’s a reprise of the end credits from “No Way Home,” showing Eddie in conversation with Christo Fernández’s barkeeper. For the duration of the movie, Eddie is then transported back to his original universe.

Afterward, he finds himself again in a nearly identical-looking tavern, and Fernández assumes his role as if by destiny, serving drinks. This is the very establishment where fragments of the Venom symbiote are carelessly abandoned. Later on, these remnants are seized by General Strickland.

As an ardent admirer, I can clarify that the trailer may have left some of us puzzled about a particular scene, assuming it was set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). However, upon closer examination, it appears that Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character, Mordo, might not have been present in that specific scene. This could be due to various reasons within the narrative of the storyline, as yet unclear to us fans eagerly anticipating more details about his role.

Is Tom Holland's Spider-Man in Venom: The Last Dance?

As a gaming enthusiast who’s dived deep into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I can’t help but notice a tantalizing detail: a fragment of the Venom symbiote seems to have lingered within the universe’s rendition of that bar. It’s an intriguing thought, could this be the key to setting up an epic showdown between Venom and Spidey in Spider-Man 4? Yet, it remains unspoken in the upcoming Venom 3.

Tom Hardy continues to express interest in a future encounter between Venom and Spider-Man, suggesting that the Venom series may not be concluding just yet. “I don’t believe we’ve seen the last of Venom; there’s still so much potential for him,” he shared with Extra.

“In my opinion, Tom Holland is the finest Spider-Man actor we’ve had so far. I absolutely adore him. I believe he’s an outstanding talent and a wonderful individual – though he’s grown into a man now. It would be a dream come true for me to collaborate with him.

At this moment, all we can do is stay patient and find out if, or when, they might share a screen together in a future movie.
