As a devoted fan who has followed Sir Paul McCartney‘s career since his days with The Beatles, witnessing his Spanish serenade to Argentine fans during his Got Back Tour was nothing short of enchanting. His ability to connect with audiences across the globe and adapt to diverse cultures is a testament to his enduring appeal and timeless talent.

During his Got Back Tour, Sir Paul McCartney charmed Argentinian audiences by conversing with them in Spanish.

82-year-old star from The Beatles performed at the Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium in Cordoba during the Latin American portion of his tour on Wednesday.

To kick off the performance, the renowned musician started by playing the timeless favorite “Can’t Buy Me Love,” causing fans to erupt in joyful screams.

Later on, he won over the audience when he started talking to them in Spanish, and he exclaimed, “Good evening Argentina, welcome to Cordoba.

Paul paused abruptly in the middle of a sentence while talking to the audience, then his band resumed with a catchy guitar melody, followed by the singer’s voice joining in.

This concert marked the second of two scheduled performances in Argentina amid the tour.

Paul is all set for a continued journey through Latin America, visiting countries like Brazil, Costa Rica, and Mexico, and eventually moving on to Europe in December.

After assisting a Chilean couple with their engagement earlier this month, an event that took place prior to his packed performance at the Monumental Stadium in Santiago, Chile, something else occurred.

While preparing for his performance, Paul noticed Yamil Álamo and Leonora Pereira among the audience, dressed up as their 1970s counterparts of him and his late wife Linda McCartney.

In addition, they displayed a sign saying “Paul: Shake our hands and we’ll get married.” Upon spotting them, he graciously asked them to join him on the stage.

On the stage, Yamil dropped to one knee and asked for Leonora’s hand in marriage, as they had been together for six years.

Yamil shared about an unforgettable experience they had, saying: “This was a truly unique occasion for us.

For a long time, we’ve been attempting to connect with him, and finally, today is the moment! Words can hardly express this amazing encounter.

As a lifestyle expert, I hail from the vibrant city of La Serena. In my past adventures, I’ve had the privilege of accompanying my partner to various international destinations, all in the name of attending his captivating concerts.

They plan to tie the knot to the soundtrack of the McCartney classic Maybe I’m Amazed’.

On the South American stretch of his tour called Got Back, Paul will perform in Brazil following his concert in Santiago.

The tour kicked off in Uruguay at the beginning of the month and saw the artist perform the last unfinished Beatles song Now and Then for the first time.

Recently, Paul made an emotional homage to the late John Lennon on the day that would have marked his 84th birthday.

On Wednesday, the artist posted a photo on Instagram showcasing a 2022 stage performance where he was joined by visuals of John playing the guitar in the background.

The video clips were sourced directly from Peter Jackson’s Disney+ documentary titled “The Beatles: Get Back,” broadcasted in November 2021, chronicling the production process behind the band’s 1970 album “Let It Be.

Paul captioned the sweet snap: ‘Happy Birthday John. Thanks for being there.’

After Sir Paul shared that he would’ve felt immense regret if he hadn’t mended their friendship, the touching gesture followed, given John’s unfortunate death in 1980.

John was shot dead at the age of 40 by crazed fan Mark Chapman outside his home in New York City.

1969 saw him depart from The Beatles, leading to protracted legal disputes concerning their musical archives that strained his relationship with his ex-lyricist collaborator, Sir Paul McCartney.

At the given time, the media extensively covered the conflict between the two parties, and in a 1971 interview, John expressed his uncertainty about ever collaborating with Sir Paul once more.
