As a long-time Disney enthusiast and Florida resident, I can’t help but feel a bit of sticker shock with the latest round of annual pass price increases at Walt Disney World. I’ve been visiting the parks for as long as I can remember, and these hikes are starting to add up.
Just as with other items at Walt Disney World, the costs for annual passes have been increased. Starting now, Disney has bumped up the prices across all four levels of their annual pass offerings.
After more than a year without any adjustments, there’s been an uptick in prices. The last time Disney increased the cost of their Walt Disney World annual passes was on October 11, 2023.
As of today, here’s how much it will cost for the different Walt Disney World Annual Passes:
Disney Incredi-Pass – $1,549 (previously $1,449)
In simpler terms, this represents the most significant growth among all levels. The amount is being increased from $100 to $1,549 plus taxes, which equates to approximately $121 per month for 12 months, given a 0% APR after an initial down payment of $205, through the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program.
The highest-level Disney Incredi-Pass is the ideal choice for individuals who reside outside of Florida and desire an annual pass. Unlike other passes, this one doesn’t have any blackout dates, allowing you to reserve up to five theme park spots simultaneously on a flexible basis. Additionally, you’ll enjoy complimentary theme park parking, as well as discounts on dining, shopping, and various other benefits.
Disney Sorcerer Pass – $1,079 (previously $999)
The Disney Sorcerer Pass can be purchased by Florida residents and eligible Disney Vacation Club members. There’s a planned increase in price by $80, which is equivalent to approximately $79 per month when paid over 12 installments. This payment plan comes with a 0% APR, but requires an initial down payment of $205. This offer is available through the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program.
The Disney Sorcerer Pass does come with some restricted dates, primarily major holidays. Similar to other passes, it allows you to reserve and maintain a maximum of five theme park appointments simultaneously. You’ll also enjoy standard theme park parking privileges and discounts.
Disney Pirate Pass – $829 (previously $799)
If you’re on a budget but still want an enjoyable experience, I believe the Disney Pirate Pass offers great value for money. The price is rising slightly from $799 to $829, which is equivalent to approximately $57 per month if you choose the 12-month payment plan with no interest (0% APR). You’ll need a down payment of $205 initially with the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program.
The number of days when the parks are closed or have restricted access (such as holidays and long periods during summer and other months) is significantly higher, especially around times when schools are not in session. Additionally, you can only create and maintain a maximum of four reservations for theme park visits. Nevertheless, you’ll still receive standard parking at the theme parks and discounts.
Disney Pixie Dust Pass – $469 (previously $439)
For those who reside in Orlando or can frequent the parks throughout the week, the entry-level Disney Pixie Dust Pass is most beneficial. This is due to the fact that this pass grants access to Walt Disney World theme parks on most weekdays throughout the year.
The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is getting a $30 increase from $439 to $469, which turns into $25 per month with 12 monthly payments and 0% APR after $205 down payme
You’ll find certain blackout periods, and you can secure just three theme park bookings simultaneously. Parking is standard and you’ll also enjoy some discounts.
New Annual Pass Renewal Prices
The new prices are effective immediately, so if you haven’t yet renewed, you’ll be doing so at the more expensive price. Here are the updated renewal prices:
- Incredi-Pass: $1,299 (was $1,229)
- Sorcerer: $929 (was $849)
- Pirate: $709 (was $679)
- Pixie Dust: $399 (was $369)
As a devoted Florida resident, I can’t help but sing praises about the Annual Pass, even with its consecutive price hikes. When you crunch the numbers, it becomes evident that this pass is a fantastic bargain compared to buying individual park tickets. If you find yourself visiting more than just a couple of times throughout the year, you’ll soon realize that the pass effectively pays for itself!
Rising costs for park operations don’t come as a shock since Disney often increases its prices. However, it’s regrettable that this adjustment occurs during difficult financial times for many families.
