As a devoted fan of Shirley Ballas, it’s hard not to be awestruck by her incredible success and the mountain of cash she’s amassed! With over £1 million in the bank and a salary as Strictly Come Dancing’s head judge that puts her fellow judges in the shade, Shirley is the epitome of a modern-day dance icon.

It’s highly possible that Shirley Ballas will be seen reveling in the open air, given that her recent financial disclosure shows an impressive sum of more than a million pounds in her account.

As the lead judge on Strictly Come Dancing, the former dancer, who is now 64 years old, receives an impressive salary, totaling approximately £1,080 per day in the previous year.

Since replacing Len Goodman in 2017, Shirley has been a regular participant on the BBC’s leading Saturday night dance contest.

Approximately a year after that, she established her own company called Dance With Passion Limited, where her growing income is now being held.

Based on the most recent reports submitted to Companies House by March 31, 2024, the company’s cash reserves have increased to a total of £1,017,649.

Last fiscal year, the company remitted approximately £98,614 as corporation tax. Given this was paid at a 25% tax rate, it indicates that the company generated nearly £400,000 in profit over that time frame.

Reports indicate that the primary dancer, in her role as the head judge on Strictly, allegedly receives a substantial salary of approximately £500,000. This amount is significantly higher than what her fellow judges reportedly make.

Craig Revel-Horwood, a regular on the hit show since it first aired in 2004, is reportedly earning around £200,000.

Since 2019, it’s believed that Motsi Mabuse, a new addition to the panel, receives the same compensation. On the other hand, Anton Du Beke, the latest judge and a former dancer on the show, is rumored to earn approximately £180,000.

Shirley’s upcoming ventures are anticipated to bring in additional wealth, given that she launched her initial fictional work last October.

In the intriguing murder mystery titled “Dance Floor Deception,” our protagonist assumes the role of a skilled dancer while covertly working as a detective to unravel a homicide.

It also features some racy content, with Shirley admitting: ‘I wouldn’t open it on an aeroplane if anybody else can read it, because there are some very saucy scenes.’

The book written by Sheila McClure, which is just the first installment of a planned series called “The Sequin Mysteries,” has the potential to earn more if successful, as it’s only the initial chapter.

Additionally, a TV production company is adapting Shirley’s novel “Murder on the Dance Floor” into a six-episode series, following her decision to sell the rights.

It comes after earlier this month, Shirley responded to the BBC’s published misconduct probe into professional dancer Giovanni Pernice.

After multiple complaints from ex-contestant Amanda Abbington concerning his conduct, the broadcaster later disclosed their investigation results.

Among 17 accusations, the BBC found six to be valid, with some involving Giovanni’s use of profanity or inappropriate sexual remarks. As a result, they issued an apology to Amanda for these incidents.

The report found that his language could be ‘belittling,’ and agreed with the Sherlock actress that at times he appeared to be giving her overly negative feedback.

Instead, in reaction to the probe’s results, Shirley asserted that she had ‘never seen anything negative behind the scenes.’

In an interview on “This Morning”, she expressed that she primarily concentrates on her dance skills, and emphasized that the safety protocols for the show have reached unprecedented heights.

She said: ‘I stay in my lane, I’m there to adjudicate the technique. I was not witness to anything backstage that was negative.

‘My experience at Strictly has been absolutely fantastic. The duty of care off the chart.

While I strongly oppose bullying, it seems they have taken appropriate actions for what has transpired. Let’s carry on and focus on our journey ahead; time will tell who reaches the end.
