Fresh footage from Severance Season 2 hints at new colleagues joining Adam Scott's Mark

As a die-hard fan of Severance, I can barely contain my excitement! The new season 2 footage has sent me into a frenzy, and I’m left with more questions than answers. Where are Helly, Irving, and Dylan? What’s with the balloons, Milchick? And why is Mark so panicked? Is this a twist we never saw coming?

Mark is back at work, regardless of his feelings towards it! In the freshly revealed footage for season 2 of Severance, Adam Scott’s character encounters his latest coworkers. However, the fates of Helly (Britt Lower), Irving (John Turturro), and Dylan (Zach Cherry) remain unclear. Additionally, there seems to be a mystery surrounding the balloons, Milchick (Tramell Tillman). We’re left with a lot of questions!

heads up! if you haven’t finished the first season of ‘Severance’, be aware that there are potential spoilers coming up. consider catching up by streaming any missed episodes on the Apple TV+ service.

On October 23rd, Deadline revealed the first glimpse of Season 2 to fans with a teaser trailer. In this footage, an anxious Mark is seen dashing through deserted corridors. It’s puzzling because according to the story, neither Mark nor the others are meant to recall their true identities, yet this Mark seems to be in distress and alert. So, which version of Mark are we witnessing – the outer or inner one?

Upon reaching his office, Mark encounters unfamiliar individuals seated at Helly, Irving, and Dylan’s desks, prompting him to inquire, “Who are these strangers?” It was then that Milchick entered the scene, carrying vibrant blue balloons adorned with Mark’s face, ready to greet him warmly. “Long time no see,” Milchick said, addressing Mark.

Is a fresh team assignment potentially a consequence of Mark’s violation of Lumon Industries’ “work-life balance” trial? If true, it doesn’t bode well for anyone involved. As for the rest of the crew, I’d argue that Helly is at the highest risk due to her role within the Severance project. Additionally, Mark’s wife is believed to still be alive.

The second season of “Severance” is set to debut on Apple TV+ this coming Friday, January 17, 2025. A new episode will become available every week, with the final episode scheduled for release on March 21.
