Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper to reunite on TV for first time since This Country

As a gamer who has been through countless hours of binge-watching comedies, I can confidently say that the news about Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper reuniting on screen for “Am I Being Unreasonable?” is nothing short of a delightful revelation! Having grown up with their hilarious antics in “This Country,” I’m excited to see what this talented sibling duo cooks up next.

Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper, who were the main stars of “This Country,” will appear together again on screen for the first time since the end of their BBC series.

For three seasons, a comedic acting pair – made up of siblings – graced our screens as the stars of their mockumentary sitcom. In 2020, this series concluded its run.

I’m pumped up to hop into the gaming world of “Am I Being Unreasonable?” alongside Daisy and Selin Hizli! This captivating show is set to make its comeback on the BBC for a thrilling second season, and I can hardly wait to be part of the action.

Among the six fresh additions to the show for its second season are Chelsea Peretti from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Tom Davis who starred in Wonka, as well as Denise Black, a notable figure from both Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

New additions to the lineup also feature British rap artist and poet Kojey Radical as well as comedian and “Taskmaster” star Jamali Maddix. The specifics regarding their roles have not been disclosed yet.

In the second season, events continue from where they left off in the previous one, as Nic (played by Daisy May Cooper) grapples with personal family problems and her connection to her brother-in-law’s killing.

The official summary hints at the possibility that Nic has successfully concealed a murder, and it suggests that she may have been passing on her questionable behavior to her son Ollie by associating with him. In simpler terms, the story revolves around Nic, who was expelled from her home due to an unwise romantic choice involving her brother. Now, living in a caravan with her dubious friend Jen, she might be unwittingly teaching her son Ollie to tread her shady path.

As a gamer, I find myself in an unusual situation: my partner Dan has jumped into a new adventure – rollerblading – to navigate his midlife journey. Yet here I am, feeling like I’ve been transported into another level of reality.

Daisy May Cooper was full of praise for one returning cast member ahead of season 2’s release.

In the first series, Lenny Rush’s BAFTA-winning portrayal of Ollie might have overshadowed me a bit. But in series two, his performance will completely outshine mine to such an extent that you may question if I was even part of it at all,” she noted.

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but wonder if it’s too much to ask for more content from the game that dropped its first season in 2022 and managed to attract an impressive 3.2 million players. It’s already been green-lit for a second series, which is exciting news indeed! But hey, can’t blame a guy for wanting more of a good thing, right?

Is it confirmed that Season 2 of “Am I Being Unreasonable” will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer? You can currently watch Season 1 on both platforms.
