Richard Osman announces exciting new live show
As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for all things entertainment, I can hardly contain my excitement about Richard Osman bringing his podcast “The Rest is Entertainment” to the hallowed grounds of the Royal Albert Hall! Having spent countless hours discussing movies and TV shows with friends online, it’s a dream come true to see such an accomplished entertainer like Osman doing what he does best in a venue that oozes history and charm.
Richard Osman has unveiled plans for a thrilling new live event, as he brings his podcast, The Rest is Entertainment, to the grand stage of the Royal Albert Hall.
This popular series, debuted last year, features the author of “The Thursday Murder Club” exploring various aspects of film, television, and beyond in collaboration with fellow host, renowned journalist Marina Hyde.
The confirmation is out: They’re set to perform a live show at the legendary London venue on December 4th. This event will encompass a recap of the past year in entertainment, a question-and-answer session with the audience, and a few unexpected treats as well.
Tomorrow (October 24), tickets for the event will be available for pre-purchase starting at 10 am. The regular sale begins on Friday (October 25) also at 10 am.
Osman proposed, ‘There’s no better way to start the holiday season than by revisiting the highs and lows of 2024.’ An event filled with laughter, juicy showbiz tidbits, rewards, and unexpected celebrity appearances. It’s family-friendly, except maybe for Guy Ritchie.
Hyde mentioned, “The Royal Albert Hall is simply breathtaking – I can hardly wait to bring down its elegant atmosphere a notch.
Being deeply passionate about Christmas and prone to dream-filled nights, I firmly believe that there’s nothing more fitting than taking part in a holiday performance at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, blending my love for the season with my dreams in an extraordinary way.
Lately, Osman’s schedule has been quite full, as he’s currently engrossed in the film adaptation of “The Thursday Murder Club“. This upcoming production boasts a star-studded cast that includes Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie, and David Tennant.
Last month, it was disclosed by both the show’s creator and host that they are planning on making 100 fresh episodes for their popular BBC series, House of Games.
On the 4th of December, The Rest is Entertainment’s live event will unfold at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. In the coming year, the film adaptation of The Thursday Murder Club will make its way to cinemas initially before becoming available on Netflix.
