On Tuesday, Denise posted a heartfelt message about Liam on Instagram, accompanied by a selection of pictures spanning their past years together.
Denise expressed gratitude to the deceased artist for his kindness towards her kids, adding that his love was beyond measure.
She penned, “Alright, let me begin… I acknowledge that what we have is genuine, and you won’t return. Thus, here’s a toast to you, the authentic version of you.
‘Kind, funny, annoyingly daft but more talented than you believed, more loved than you could grasp.
‘The dark storms have passed and all that is ahead of you is sunshine. You deserve that.’
She added: ‘Thank you for being so sweet with my kids, the big kid in you always knew what to say to make them laugh. Rest well bab… Wolvo & the world weep.’
According to a source, speaking to the Mail’s Katie Hind, it was stated that Liam deeply loved Denise. In many ways, she acted like a mother to him and made significant efforts to help and support him.
In the photos posted by Denise, Liam can be spotted having fun while golfing with his family on various outings and celebrating at birthday parties.
He was also seen in a picture with Denise’s 22-year-old daughter Lauren as they posed with singer Rita Ora.
Last Wednesday evening, Liam tragically fell from the third floor of a hotel located in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina. Subsequently, medical professionals declared him deceased.
The tribute from his record label, Universal Music Group, expressed their deep sorrow over the untimely death of Liam Payne.
‘His legacy will live on through his music and the countless fans he inspired and who adored him. We send our deepest condolences to Liam’s family and loved ones.’
It was revealed hours later that Liam had been dropped by the record label days before his death.
At age 22, Liam, who was initially contracted with Sony as a member of One Direction, kicked off his solo career by signing an agreement with Capitol Records (a Universal-owned label) in July 2016.
