Manchester City player Phil Foden issued a yellow card in the face of a £60 parking fine on his £200,000 Mercedes G Wagon

Phil Foden was spotted running through Wilmslow town centre to save himself from a parking ticket on his Mercedes G Wagon worth £200,000.

Phil and his long-term partner Rebecca Cooke, aged 23, seemed to be chuckling as they observed a traffic officer issuing them a parking fine.

As Phil transitioned from an enjoyable stroll to a consistent run, he frequently glanced over his shoulder at Rebecca, who kept smiling all through it.

Bystanders watched as Phil conversed with the parking officer, yet his appeals for leniency went unheard when he removed the cautionary yellow ticket from his windshield and drove away.

The couple appeared to have been having a nice day out, dressed in casual ensembles. 

Phil donned a pair of ripped jeans with a blue jacket and matching blue trainers.  

Rebecca appeared equally at ease donning a set of black leggings, black Adidas shoes, and a cozy pink sweater, complemented by a pink leather handbag.

For many years, the two of them who share a deep affection for each other, have been inseparable since their adolescence when they first crossed paths at a gathering. Now, they’re proud guardians to three lovely offspring.

In June, Rebecca welcomed their third child into the world, and Philip returned from the Euros to support her during the labor.

In the year 2019, Phil and Rebecca became parents for the first time with the arrival of their son, Ronnie. Their little girl, named True, joined them in 2021.

During an interview with Manchester City, Phil spoke about being there for Ronnie’s birth, he said: ‘I was there for the birth. I walked out of the room, gave it a little tear and then went back in like nothing happened’. 

The romantic side of their lives tends to be quiet and away from public scrutiny, as Rebecca prefers not to draw attention to herself, a trait clearly reflected in her personalized social media settings.

This season, Foden set a record as the youngest player ever to secure six league championships, having contributed significantly to Manchester City’s fourth successive Premier League title victory.

However, the current Player of the Year in the Premier League hasn’t had a smooth journey, as there have been some controversial moments during his rise to senior football.

Last year, both Foden and Jack Grealish, members of Manchester City and England’s squad respectively, were moved to the bench by manager Pep Guardiola as a consequence for their off-field behavior, stemming from a late-night outing during the week.

Despite the setback he experienced, the young star skillfully managed to sustain his career and keep it on course after the incident, opting for a focused football lifestyle over an exhilarating social one.

During that period, it seemed like Foden’s professional journey might veer off course, but due to the encouragement and advice from Rebecca, as well as the strong bond he maintains with his parents, the English player managed to keep on the correct path.
