Five days following the unexpected passing of Liam Payne at age 31, Justin Bieber made a touching and poignant tribute.
31-year-old singer, who along with his boyband ruled the charts during the 2010s, posted a melancholic video of floral offerings and condolences dedicated to Liam, accompanied by the message: “May you find peace, Liam,” followed by a heartbroken emoji.
On a fateful Wednesday, the renowned member of One Direction met an unfortunate end when he fell from the third level of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The impact caused severe injuries that resulted in immediate internal and external bleeding, ultimately leading to his tragic demise.

Payne mentioned, “I thought to myself, ‘The only difference between us is that I haven’t been arrested,’ but I absolutely had no intention of causing any offense to Bieber.
He added: ‘It started some beef.’
Payne reminisced on how the dispute, initially triggered by their online presence, escalated into actual encounters as both One Direction and Bieber frequently crossed paths at award events.
In this specific awards event, where the band and Bieber were present, Liam decided it was a good opportunity to talk things over with him, aiming to resolve their disagreement.
Speaking about Bieber at the time, Liam noted: ‘He had grown as a person.’
He later reminded Bieber saying, “I’ve empathized with you throughout… firstly, I’ve accomplished everything you have without ever getting caught, and secondly, I’ve always had a deep understanding for you, buddy, and I believe that in our circumstances we both struggle with the same affliction.
Later on, he asserted that he had informed the Canadian solo artist (Bieber) that, unlike him who could rely on his bandmates during tough times, Bieber might not have had the same level of support since he is a solo performer.
According to Payne, Bieber reacted by saying something like, “Dude, that sent shivers down my spine.” And from then on, they developed a friendship.
Sharing insights from his personal journey, he expressed a desire to assist newcomers in the entertainment industry, especially young males, navigate its intense and challenging aspects.
In an interview with Rollacoaster magazine back in 2017, Liam shared that Justin Bieber is a genuinely nice person and has a kind, generous heart.
He added of the time he broke bread with the Canadian singer: ‘I said to him, ‘Take my number and any time you want a chat, let me know as I’m here and I understand exactly what you’re going through and I understand your world’.’
According to reports coming from Argentina, it was found that Payne had various substances, such as ‘pink cocaine’, among others, in his body at the time of his fall from a hotel balcony.
Investigators handling the tragic case in Argentina are categorizing it as an ‘unresolved death’. They are still pursuing the drug dealer who was believed to have supplied the victim on that particular night.
On Monday, we received some initial findings from the toxicology tests conducted on Payne’s remains. These results indicate the presence of cocaine, benzodiazepine, crack cocaine, and what is known as “pink cocaine” – a mix of methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA.
Meanwhile, as investigations on the substances such as white powder, residues of chemical crystals, and prescribed medications discovered in his room at the luxury hotel are ongoing, the findings from an autopsy conducted on his body have already been concluded.
It was concluded that the singer succumbed immediately due to numerous injuries sustained from a fall of approximately 45 feet off the third floor.
A makeshift aluminum tube, often utilized for smoking crack cocaine, was likewise discovered in his hotel room, as per media outlets.
According to a post-mortem examination conducted on Liam, traces of cocaine were detected.
The white powder discovered on Liam’s bedroom table, when analyzed by the Buenos Aires City Police, was not identified as cocaine.
‘A second test is to follow to determine the nature of the drug.’
According to a report by ABC News, an initial autopsy revealed that the late One Direction singer, who was just 31 years old, had several substances in his body when he tragically fell from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16th.
Among the substances found were:
‘An improvised aluminium pipe to ingest drugs was also found in his hotel room.’
It comes as police continue to hunt for the drug dealer who supplied Mr Payne.
Yesterday, it was disclosed that two employees of a hotel are under investigation for allegedly providing the celebrity with illicit substances in the time preceding the unfortunate incident.
It is reported that a cleaning personnel and another staff member are alleged to have concealed the drugs inside a box of Dove Soap, which was discovered by detectives in the late Mr. Payne’s room after his passing.
According to Argentine legal sources, they won’t hand over the remains of Mr. Payne to his father, Geoff Payne, until all necessary examinations have been completed.
A funeral is expected to take place in Britain in November.
