Married At First Sight fan favourite shares exciting family news in emotional video
Oh, my goodness gracious! As a devoted fan who has followed Carly Bowyer’s journey since her days on Married At First Sight Australia, this news about her expecting her second child simply takes the cake (or should I say cookie?). It’s been a rollercoaster ride watching her find love with Neil Goldsmith and welcome their adorable son Bailey into the world. Now, to have another little one joining the family is just beyond exciting!
Married At First Sight Australia star Carly Bowyer has announced she is expecting her second child.
The former reality dating show participant took to Instagram on Sunday to share the happy news.
In the video, Carly recorded the instance when she, along with her fiancé Neil Goldsmith and son Bailey, shared their news publicly.
Carly is shown crying tears of joy as she reacts to her positive pregnancy test.
Eventually, the video shows Bailey’s charming reaction, as well as her smiling and waving at her ultrasound images.
‘Our little Cookie, you were worth the wait,’ the Adelaide-based mother wrote in the caption.
It comes after Carly announced her engagement to Neil at the start of the year.
She shared the news to Instagram on New Year’s Day alongside a photo of Neil popping the question.
In the photo, Carly appears startled, covering her face, amidst a beautiful garden setting. Meanwhile, her partner is down on one knee next to their son, Bailey, also in this scene.
‘So this happened,’ she captioned the post, adding a ring emoji.
‘What a way to end 2023!’ she continued.
Carly’s good news was soon met with well wishers.
‘Congratulations! So happy for you!’ wrote former MAFS star Tracey Jewel.
Even her husband-to-be had something to say.
‘Better late than never,’ he joked, adding a face blowing a kiss emoji.
Carly and Neil welcomed son Bailey in 2020.
On Instagram, Carly posted that Bailey “Biscuit” Bowyer Goldsmith was born prematurely on February 12th, 2020, three weeks ahead of schedule.
She went on saying, “We’re completely amazed by our precious little guy. It’s hard to believe we created something so flawless.
Carly gained popularity during the fifth season of “Married At First Sight,” a show where she was matched with Troy Delmege as her partner.
