As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating through digital landscapes, I must say that this new game you’ve introduced has piqued my interest. The intricate design and challenging obstacles are reminiscent of the trials I faced during my early gaming years.

General Rules

The progress bar will slide from left to right. Once it hits 100%, we’ll deem the task as accomplished.

The Health Point (HP) indicator is aligned with the progress bar. If your Health Points decrease to zero (either by overlooking a virus or colliding with an obstacle, causing a reduction of one HP), the task will conclude prematurely, classifying it as a failed attempt.

In summary, don’t forget about the rating bar situated at the upper right corner. Try to collect as many viruses as possible to boost that bar before the challenge concludes.

After finishing a stage or challenge, you’ll earn EXP (the number of viruses defeated), which temporarily boosts the program level during the event, and does not affect your personal EXP.

The software offers extra advantages like higher health points, recovery items available on the field, and a possibility for respawning.

Stage 1: Recycling

In every obstacle, you’ll encounter various types of digital threats. Some of these threats take up space on as many as three TVs, while others occupy just one. To capture the threat data, all you need to do is press and hold the W or S key to navigate upwards and downwards. If the threat data overlaps with your character before it disappears, you’ll successfully collect the data. Gathering data will earn you points and boost your score (located at the top right).

Each stage offers both Easy (Surface) and Difficult (Depth) settings. When you’re in the Difficult setting, your character may encounter Overcharge Batteries periodically. Engaging with an Overcharge Battery will trigger Overload mode. In this Overload mode, your character becomes invulnerable to any form of HP reduction, including hitting a wall.

The countdown timer for Overload mode is located beneath the rating bar. Make sure to keep an eye on this timer to avoid being caught off guard when it runs out, causing you to lose command over your character.

Stage 2: Programs

From stage 2 onwards, you’ll find yourself facing barriers resembling walls. These obstacles will pop up in various locations, and it’s crucial that you steer clear of them. Colliding with these barriers can lead to a decrease in your health points. However, as previously stated, activating Overload mode during the challenging difficulty setting enables you to smash through these walls without any loss of health points.

Stage 3: Network

In stage 3, you’ll notice the introduction of ‘acceleration areas’. Once you pass through these areas, be prepared for an escalation in your speed. The number of arrows shows the degree of this acceleration. Keep calm, focus on dodging the barriers, and remember that health boosts will periodically appear, so minor HP loss isn’t something to worry about.

Stage 4: Database

In stage 4, you will encounter what can be described as concentrated light pulses, or simply put, laser blasts. There will be a heads-up before they appear, giving you a chance to avoid them. If you don’t manage to dodge them in time, your health points will decrease.

Stage 5: Core

At this point, I’m bracing myself for a unique challenge. The road ahead promises a fusion of every virus and hurdle encountered so far from my past journeys.
