Kylie Jenner’s ex Travis Scott makes surprise appearance in first look for Christopher Nolan epic The Odyssey

I was so excited to see the latest trailer for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Odyssey’ movie yesterday! It turns out Travis Scott is going to be in it, which is a fantastic surprise! I’ve been following this project for ages and can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

People watching the AFC Championship game – both football fans and those following the 34-year-old rapper – were surprised to see him make a quick appearance in a TV ad for his new movie. The ad aired during the game between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos on Fox.

Scott Disick, who recently spoke publicly about his children with Kylie Jenner, even had a speaking role in the trailer for the new movie. This suggests he might have a more significant part than just a quick appearance among the film’s many famous actors.

Matt Damon teams up with director Christopher Nolan once again, this time portraying Odysseus, the clever hero from Greek mythology. Odysseus famously fought in the Trojan War, but his journey home to his family was delayed for twenty years by the actions of powerful Greek gods.

The latest preview showed a scene fans had already seen – a conversation between Telemachus, played by Tom Holland, and Menelaus, played by Jon Bernthal. However, this version included extra footage and a surprising appearance by Scott.

In the updated version, the rapper from Sicko Mode interrupted Telemachus. He silenced the rowdy soldiers by jumping onto their table and hitting it with his staff.

With a powerful voice and dramatic pauses, he recounted the story of the Trojan War – a war, a man, and a clever trick used to conquer the city of Troy. As he spoke, quick clips from previous trailers showing scenes of the war flashed across the screen.

‘And burn it . . . screaming to the ground,’ Scott concluded.

Although reports suggest the popular musician will appear in The Odyssey, his IMDb page doesn’t show any involvement in Christopher Nolan’s new film. With only a small amount of dialogue to go on, it’s currently unknown what role he might have.

Nolan’s film version of Homer’s epic starts ten years after the Trojan War, but it shows key moments from the war’s end that aren’t fully detailed in the original poem. For example, the film depicts Odysseus’s famous trick – the Trojan Horse – where Greek soldiers hid inside a giant wooden horse to infiltrate Troy, while Homer only mentions the horse briefly.

The story includes flashbacks to the key event that led to the Greeks winning the Trojan War, but also shows a scene ten years after the war’s end. In this scene, Odysseus’s son, Telemachus, begins a journey to find his father, who has been missing.

The rapper previously worked with Nolan in a purely musical context for his 2020 sci-fi action thriller Tenet, in which Scott performed the film’s theme song, THE PLAN.

In a 2018 GQ interview, Christopher Nolan discussed working with Scott on the performer’s debut song for a movie.

Nolan explained that the composer’s input was the last essential element they needed after a year of work. He described how Ludwig Göransson quickly offered deep and valuable perspectives on the music and storytelling they were developing.

Scott and Nolan also share a love for premium-format IMAX film.

Before the movie Tenet came out, Travis Scott filmed the music video for his song “FRANCHISE,” and he also directed it. The video was shot using IMAX film and was shown before Tenet screenings in IMAX theaters to encourage people to return to cinemas.

Scott later posted a picture of a handwritten note that Nolan sent him after seeing the video.

Nolan enthusiastically praised the video, noting it was shot on film. In a handwritten note, he said he was excited to experience it with the powerful sound of IMAX and to see the impressive sheep stampede on the big screen, playfully framing it as a combination of scenes from Travis and his film Tenet. He ended by complimenting Chris on his great work.

Moviegoers can find out if Scott appears in any additional scenes when “The Odyssey” hits theaters on July 17th.

Just before his film debut, the rapper spoke briefly about his children with Kylie Jenner, while her new partner, Timothée Chalamet, received another Academy Award nomination.

Rapper Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, recently talked about being a father to his two children: seven-year-old daughter Stormi and three-year-old son Aire. He shares both children with Kylie Jenner, the 28-year-old businesswoman known for her makeup line.

Becoming a father has taught him one key lesson: you can’t afford to completely shut down, he shared in a recent Rolling Stone interview published on Wednesday.

The rapper explained that being away from his kids while on tour is the most difficult part. He added that, like him, his children are always coming up with new and sometimes wild ideas, making it hard to limit what they do.

Scott went on to boast that his son Aire is just as innovative as he is.

The celebrity explained that they brought someone to the Disney Imagineering lab. The person was amazed by the robots, new technology, and how everything was constructed.

He also talked about AI and revealed whether he lets his kids use it.

Scott believes his children are better off without artificial intelligence, as he thinks it could hinder their brain’s natural development and potential.

It’s important for people to understand the fundamentals and develop their own learning skills. That way, they can effectively use AI as a tool, rather than relying on it completely – otherwise, they won’t be able to evaluate whether the results are accurate or not.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott began dating in 2017, and shortly after, she became pregnant. In February 2018, she surprised her fans by announcing the birth of their daughter, Stormi.

Then months later, she made a surprise appearance in the music video for Stop Trying To Be God.

Later in the year, Jenner showed her support for Scott by appearing as the Virgin Mary in his music video, “Stop Trying to Be God.”

However, the stars split in October 2019 and later got back together.

Oh my gosh, in 2021 Kylie finally let us know she was expecting baby number two! I was seriously glued to social media waiting for any little hint, and then Aire arrived in February 2022! It was the best news ever, honestly. I’ve been following her journey for so long, and seeing her family grow just makes me so happy!

Travis and Kylie officially ended their relationship in 2023, but they’ve continued to be friends even after a difficult on-again, off-again romance.

I remember when Kylie first started dating Tyga, it was a big deal! He was already an established rapper, a bit older, and she was still so young – practically a teenager. They were together for a long time, and everyone was always talking about their relationship.

Timothée Chalamet, Kendall Jenner’s boyfriend, is up for Best Actor at the 2026 Oscars, putting him in competition with Leonardo DiCaprio. The Oscar nominations were revealed on Thursday.

Timothée Chalamet, age 30, was nominated for his role in Marty Supreme, and Leonardo DiCaprio, 51, received a nomination for One Battle Another. They will compete against Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Michael B. Jordan (Sinners), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent).

This actor is a remarkable talent and truly exceptional company. He’s the first since Marlon Brando to be nominated for three acting awards, highlighting his incredible skill and impact.

By the time he was the same age, Marlon Brando had already received three Academy Award nominations for his roles in the films A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), Viva Zapata! (1952), and Julius Caesar (1953).

Oh my gosh, Timothée got his FIRST Oscar nomination for Call Me By Your Name back in 2017, and I literally screamed! Then, last year, he was nominated again for A Complete Unknown! Two nominations already? He’s just… incredible. I knew he was destined for greatness!
