Each year, the GO Gala serves as a gathering for supporters, celebrities, influencers, philanthropists, project collaborators, social advocates, and high-caliber entertainers – all under one roof – hosted by the GO Campaign.
Contributions will be utilized to support the organization’s initiatives aimed at increasing visibility and resources for orphaned and at-risk kids, both domestically in the United States and globally.
On their website, it is stated that one particular event annually collects a substantial sum, approximately hundreds of thousands of dollars, to facilitate the operations of the GO Campaign. This is how they plan to carry on addressing the needs of children worldwide who are at risk.
The special evening at the gala also celebrates the transformative work of GO’s Local Heroes, and included a musical performance by The Recycled Orchestra of Catuera.
Established in 2006 and located in Santa Monica, California, this organization aids initiatives that provide essential assistance to underprivileged children, focusing on areas like education, vocational training, healthcare, recreational activities, and protection of fundamental human rights.
GO has funded children’s programs in over 40 countries, impacting over 418,000 children.
In 2016, while filming the third season of FX’s series Fargo, McGregor and Winstead found themselves not just acting as lovers on screen, but also developing genuine feelings for each other off-set. They portrayed each other’s romantic interests in the show.
