NASCAR Cup Series team set for surprise return at Homestead
As an avid NASCAR fan with a decade of racing passion under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and intrigue as Chad Finchum prepares to take on Homestead-Miami Speedway next weekend. The partnership between MBM Motorsports and Aires Tech is not just another sponsorship deal; it’s a pioneering step towards merging technology with wellness, a concept that resonates deeply with me as I juggle my love for racing and my commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Originally, MBM Motorsports didn’t intend to participate in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs at Homestead-Miami Speedway. However, they had scheduled to race at Kansas Speedway and unfortunately couldn’t make it, and they’re not listed as a competitor for this weekend’s event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where they had initially planned to join the competition as well.
However, Homestead is now included in their plans due to an unprecedented collaboration between Carl Long’s team and Aires Tech.
On the upcoming Sunday afternoon, Chad Finchum will be behind the wheel of car number 66, a Ford model, for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 race at the four-cornered, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Homestead oval in Florida.
Finchum returns as MBM, Aires Tech deal announced
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Finchum will be utilizing the brand’s technology for the first time, protecting himself from radiation emissions caused by in-race communication systems, specifically electromagnetic field radiation (EMF).
This technology is uniquely created to safeguard the human body against electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation produced by wireless communications, thus harmonizing the connection between advanced technology and personal health.
Finchum will be one of six drivers to pilot the No. 66 car during this racing season, and he is on track to be the fourth driver with more than one appearance. Originating from Knoxville, Tennessee at 30 years old, this racer previously competed at Nashville Superspeedway in June, which was his return to the Cup Series following a break since October 2021.
As I navigate the racetracks this season, I’m proud to be the driver leading the pack with three starts under the MBM Motorsports banner. Hot on my heels are Timmy Hill and B.J. McLeod, who’ve managed two starts apiece. David Starr and Parker Retzlaff have also made their mark, each having one start to their name so far.
In this innovative collaboration, Aires Tech will grace the paint job of the No. 66 Ford during the upcoming race, with a prominent placement on the rear quarter panel. Furthermore, Finchum and his team associated with the No. 66 entry will demonstrate their products. The Lifetune product from the brand is scheduled to be utilized throughout the weekend.
The brand is additionally running a competition for its fans, offering them an opportunity to secure a VIP event pass to Homestead. To participate, fans simply need to navigate to the Aires Tech contest webpage between the present moment and October 20th.
MBM Motorsports haven’t competed in a Cup Series race at Homestead since February 2021.
Tune into NBC for the live coverage of the Straight Talk Wireless 400, starting at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 27, straight from Homestead-Miami Speedway. Sign up now for a free trial of FuboTV to catch all the action!
