As a seasoned ghost hunter who has spent countless nights in haunted mansions and abandoned asylums, the announcement of Phasmophobia‘s console release fills me with a mix of excitement and dread – much like the feeling one gets when they hear a ghostly whisper in the dark. I can already envision the chilling atmosphere, the creaking floorboards beneath my feet, and the tense whispers of my teammates as we delve deeper into the unknown.
Game studio Kinetic Games has unveiled plans to release their game, Phasmophobia, on consoles in the last week of October. This means that by Halloween, you and three friends can enjoy a cooperative ghost-hunting experience together!
In the game Phasmophobia, your task is to explore different haunted sites where you’ll utilize ghost-hunting equipment to accumulate proof of ghostly entities. Afterward, you’ll market these findings to a group of ghost hunters who will subsequently eliminate the bothersome spirits.
On October 29th, you can expect Phasmophobia to release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, with a price tag of $19.99. Take a peek at the trailer below for a sneak preview of the chilling ambiance and scares that lie in wait!
