Liam Payne’s heartbreaking final posts with his son Bear, seven, resurface after he voiced his pride for his ‘mini me’ before his shock death

As a long-time fan and admirer of One Direction, I am deeply saddened by the tragic news about Liam Payne. His life was filled with music, love, and stardom, but it seems that his untimely demise has left us all in shock.

Liam Payne’s last photos with his son Bear are being discussed again after the unexpected death of the singer, who was only 31 years old.

A previous member of One Direction had a fall from the third level of CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires around 5 pm on Wednesday afternoon.

In March 2017, the star greeted his young son, Bear Grey (who was seven at the time), along with his girlfriend Cheryl Cole. However, they parted ways the next year.

The duo have graciously agreed to jointly raise their child and have decided to shield him from the public spotlight, ensuring his identity remains private.

In the earlier part of this year, I was fortunate enough to be among those who Liam had chosen to share a precious video with Bear. This heartwarming footage, now making rounds again following his sad demise, captures them strolling together in a tranquil park, their figures walking side by side from behind.

The heartbreaking clip sees Liam holding hands with his son, before letting go to ruffle the youngster’s hair.

In March, the songwriter expressed a heartfelt instant, accompanied by this caption: “Look how big Bear has grown!” with a weeping emoticon and a bear icon.

A couple of weeks ago, Liam posted another photo of Bear gazing at a billboard promoting his fresh music.

He captioned the sweet snap: ‘I want to be on a billboard one day daddy’.

Lately, Liam has been making infrequent remarks regarding his son’s growth, with another comment added on his rapid growth.

On the occasion of his 31st birthday towards the end of August, Liam posted a video on Instagram discussing his pet, Bear.

He said: ‘I’m going to speak to my son in a little bit which I’m really excited about. Bless him. 

I can hardly contain my excitement! He’s growing so rapidly, turning into such a towering presence. He’s become this massive little version of me, it’s almost as if I’ve multiplied myself! Frankly, the world doesn’t need any more of me – but with him around, who needs originality when you can have a duplicate?

Liam and Cheryl have generally avoided showing their son in public, yet they’ve shared some remarks about him previously.

In a 2022 interview with People, the artist affectionately shared that his child regards him as if he were a beloved superhero.

I spend quality time with him twice a week, and occasionally thrice. Regardless, when we meet, I ensure my full attention is on him, avoiding distractions like being on my phone or engaging in other activities.

Liam stated: “I enjoy creating special moments for him, which are crucial. He requires such experiences in his life. It’s vital that he has his father around, and I’m delighted he sees me as a hero. I aim to maintain this perception.

• Pictures revealed rooms inside the hotel where Payne plunged to his death;
• Harry Styles’s mother Anne Twist shared her grief with a tribute on Instagram

Liam started dating Cheryl in 2016, which was a year after her divorce from Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. Their child was born in the subsequent year. Regrettably, they parted ways in 2018.

Following a short-lived romance with supermodel Naomi Campbell, the singer entered into a relationship with Maya Henry in 2019, and by the following year, he had proposed to her.

Yet, by 2022, the pair decided to part ways permanently, and only a few days prior to Liam’s demise, Maya initiated legal proceedings against the celebrity. She claimed that he was excessively persistent in contacting her and using his followers to harass her, a behavior she referred to as “weaponizing” his fans.

Shortly following his death, Maya finally spoke up, as reported by DailyMail.com: “Currently, she is undeniably in a state of shock.

From October 2022 up until his passing, Liam was in a romantic involvement with Kate Cassidy.

His final Snapchat posts showed him posing with girlfriend Kate, only minutes before his death, after reportedly falling around 5pm (ART).

In one picture, Liam and Kate were captured taking a mirror selfie together, while in another post, he shared a photo with the caption: ‘Beautiful day in Argentina.’ (This version maintains the original’s meaning but uses more conversational language.)

He shared an additional photo of him and Kate, which was captioned as ‘Quality time’ and showed their food, as he admitted: ‘We’ve been waking up at 1pm everyday.’ 

Apart from that, Liam added a photo of an open-air terrace with the caption: “Glad to have some free time,” and additionally, he posted one showing him contemplating whether to dress up as Forrest Gump for Halloween.

On Thursday, the family of singer Liam expressed their deep sorrow over his passing, stating that the ex-member of One Direction will remain etched in their hearts forever.

In a deeply felt declaration, Liam’s family expressed their devastation: ‘Our hearts are shattered. Liam’s memory will be treasured within us, and we’ll always recall him as a person of great kindness, humor, and courage.’

At present, our family is doing our utmost to offer mutual assistance during these difficult circumstances. We kindly request understanding and respect for our need for privacy and personal space during this challenging period.

Liam’s uncle, Roger Harris, informed TopMob: ‘We’re all feeling profoundly sad and trying to cope. I merely ask that everyone respects their privacy during this difficult time and lets them grieve in peace. That’s all I can share.’

Furthermore, from where I stand as a devoted follower, hearing the news at Payne’s family residence in Wolverhampton left me deeply saddened, saying, “We are completely heartbroken.

Various tributes have emerged for the singer, as images show stunned fans congregating outside the hotel following a police blockade, with experts in sterile outfits and latex gloves visible going in and out of the scene.

Supporters gathered along the street, capturing moments of candlelight and floral offerings in a spontaneous memorial, expressing their respect for the deceased musician.

In the year 2010, Liam became a part of the boy band One Direction, which also included Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles. This group came together following their individual performances at The X Factor auditions.

The team clinched third position and subsequently rose to international fame, known for chart-topping songs like “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Live While We’re Young.

Following their global rise as a renowned pop group, releasing five studio albums and embarking on four worldwide tours, they decided to take an extended break in 2016.

During his stay in Argentina, Liam recently met up with his old band partner, Niall Horan, who performed a concert that Liam attended earlier this month.

Sadly, Liam suffered fatal injuries when he fell from a hotel balcony on the third floor, causing a severe skull fracture. Regrettably, paramedics were unable to revive him at the site of the accident.

Emergency responders verified his identity through examining his passport, however, the police are still gathering solid proof about how he fell from a particular situation.

According to a representative from the city’s emergency medical services, Liam fell an astonishing 40 meters and sustained injuries so severe that they proved fatal.

5:04pm saw the alert being given, indicating there was someone lying on a courtyard inside Casa Sur. By 5:11pm, an ambulance had arrived at the scene, and sadly, the individual was pronounced dead.

Later, it was discovered that he was a well-known vocalist. Regrettably, the harm inflicted by his fall ultimately led to his death. It was impossible to revive him.
