As a seasoned observer of public figures and their lives, it is always intriguing to delve into the complexities that surround them. In this case, Gregg Wallace, a man whose culinary expertise has graced our screens for years, finds himself embroiled in yet another controversy.

On Instagram, Gregg Wallace revealed that his daughter Libby is now engaged to her boyfriend, Alex Marsden, as of Thursday.

The renowned MasterChef celebrity, aged 60, announced joyful tidings to his followers: His single child, at 28 years old, is preparing to marry her partner of two years.

In a delightful social media update adorned with pumpkins, Libby proudly displayed her stunning engagement ring, expressing her joy that Alex proposed at the most enchanting location she’s ever known.

She wrote: ‘I said yes in one of the most magical places on earth #PumpkinProposal’

After celebrating our two-year milestone as a happy duo, I took to social media to share a collection of cherished moments we’ve captured along the way.

Libby wrote: ‘It’s been 2 years with you, my dear 💞 Over these two years, we’ve made 3 house changes, visited the emergency room twice, and shared endless hearty laughs.’

Cheers to even more exciting escapades, tomfoolery, pushing boundaries, and simply put, more mischief! My affection for you remains unchanged.

Gregg introduced Libby and their son, Tom (aged 30), to his second spouse, the talented pastry chef Denise. Unfortunately, Denise passed away in 2017 after a challenging struggle against alcohol addiction.

The former couple married in 1999 and divorced in 2004.

In 2016, Gregg tied the knot with his fourth spouse, Anne (age 39), and they became parents to their third child, a baby boy named Sid, who was born in 2019.

In August 2016, the renowned BBC figure and Anne-Marie, a woman 22 years his junior, exchanged vows at Hever Castle in Kent. They first crossed paths three years prior to their wedding.

It comes after Gregg revealed he would ‘never’ renew his wedding vows with his wife Anna.

Gregg made it clear to TopMob that even though he is highly knowledgeable about weddings, he has no intention of reaffirming his marriage vows with Anna again.

In the interview, Gregg, who has been married four times, clarified: “I must admit, I’ve never fully grasped the concept. We’ve had our special day of marriage, which was quite a grand occasion.

It seems to me that repeating your wedding might take away from its unique charm, given my extensive knowledge and expertise in the area of matrimonial events. After all, each wedding is a unique celebration of love.

It comes after Gregg denied claims he boasted about his sex life to a younger female BBC employee and took his top off in front of her while filming a game show – saying he would never ‘flirt with’ or ‘hit on’ another woman.

In 2018, it was reported that senior figures within the company called for a meeting with the joint host of MasterChef, due to accusations of improper sexual remarks. They advised him to modify his behavior.

A source alleges that during his time on the set of the game show “Impossible Celebrities”, Gregg dismissed repeated instances of improper remarks towards a production crew member as mere joking or friendly banter.

In response to the accusations, Wallace posted a heartfelt video on Instagram, expressing that he is deeply in love with his spouse Anna.

He mentioned that the story making headlines today was quickly looked into six years ago, by the BBC, as soon as it occurred.

As a result, it turned out that I didn’t make any sexually explicit comments. Let me clarify once more – I did not make any sexual remarks.

Six years ago, not a single soul, as far as I can recall, had ever leveled accusations against me for flirting or making inappropriate advances towards anyone. That’s just not my style!

I’m expressing this due to my devoted relationship with my beloved wife, Anna. For the past twelve years since we first met and fell for each other, I have remained faithful to Anna, never entertaining any romantic advances or flirtatious behavior towards anyone else.

‘And it’s important that, so that people don’t misunderstand that, that I am true to my wife.’
