Tyra Banks looks effortlessly chic in a plaid trench coat at Burberry 57th Street store reopening
As someone who has grown up watching Tyra Banks grace the runway and the small screen, it was truly a delight to see her at the grand reopening of Burberry’s 57th Street store. Her timeless elegance and effortless style never fail to impress, and Wednesday’s event was no exception.
Earlier this week, she caused a stir among fans at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show by closing it with her appearance.
On Wednesday, Tyra Banks confidently attended the reopening event for Burberry’s store located on 57th Street in New York City, making quite an impression.
In one of the brand’s timeless trench coats, the 50-year-old supermodel displayed elegance while posing for the photographers.
She eagerly welcomed back the refurbished, three-tier Burberry flagship store after a 16-month overhaul.
As a devoted follower, I had the pleasure of joining Tyra and other esteemed celebrities in celebrating the grand comeback of the prestigious British brand. We were all pampered with cocktails and a delightful dinner at their impressive headquarters to mark this significant occasion.
Fittingly, she was dressed in one of Burberry’s most iconic items — a trench coat.
Despite the fact that Burberry coats have become shorter due to the brand following contemporary styles, Tyra was adorned with a graceful long trench coat that honored the traditional design instead.
The coat’s hem reached down nearly to her ankles, making it look like a dress.
Instead of sticking to a traditional look with her tan coat, she added an eye-catching twist by incorporating a mesmerizing black, white, and orange checkered design.
Instead of letting her coat become overly bulky, Tyra chose a relaxed look by pushing up her sleeves to just below her elbows.
She kept the care-free look going by simply tying the belt around her midriff.
On the runway, the shining star compared the coat’s earthy shades to striking white mule shoes featuring extended squared-off toes and ornate buttons adorning their upper parts.
She accessorized with a pouch-shaped gold sequin-covered handbag with a thick metal chain, and she wore her caramel-colored hair in long, voluminous curls spread out over her shoulders.
During the grand reopening event, Tyra could be seen conversing affectionately with the timelessly radiant Cher.
In a striking contrast, the 78-year-old performer paired Tyra’s bright-toned coat against her own dark, trench coat. (or) The 78-year-old entertainer made a bold contrast by wearing a black trench coat to complement Tyra’s lighter-hued coat.
Instead of Tyra’s coat ending at the knee, it extended more generously, boasting an eye-catching over-sized style with noticeably padded shoulders.
At the festive event, Tyra made an entrance following her highly anticipated walk as the final model during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday evening. This appearance signified her comeback to the runway after almost six years since her last participation in the fashion show.
A multitude of spectators applauded her ‘legendary’ return to the catwalk as iconic, yet some expressed disappointment over the seemingly conventional attire she donned. Her ensemble, adorned with shimmering black accents, consisted of a corset and bra, along with leggings and heels that complemented the look.
