RHOP: Was Gizelle Bryant wrong for kicking her fellow housewives out of her GnA event?

As a long-time fan of reality TV and someone who has spent countless hours watching the Real Housewives franchise, I must say that the latest drama on The Real Housewives of Potomac has me hooked! In my opinion, Gizelle Bryant’s actions were entirely justified in this instance.

The popular series, “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” has returned for its ninth season, and it’s already shaping up to be a thrilling ride as the ladies are involved in some high-stakes drama. By the finale of episode two, tensions escalated significantly when Gizelle Bryant decided to expel some of her fellow housewives from the joint GnA event she co-hosted with Ashley Darby.

It appears that during the initial broadcast, Gizelle and Ashley hosted an event launch, introducing their athletic brand, GnA, and extending invitations to all the ladies for a future fundraising event. Everyone seemed to express interest in attending.

On the eve of the GnA event, Karen Huger extended invitations via text to all the ladies for an awards ceremony happening simultaneously and concurrently with the other event. She was also kind enough to offer transport between the two occasions.

In this episode scene, it was clear that what Karen did was inappropriate and unacceptable behavior. It’s indisputable that her actions were wrong. Interestingly, some of the women chose to exploit the opportunity for transportation between the two events. They opted to divide their time between both events, aiming to support their fellow housewives. However, the predicament lies in the fact that they overlooked Gizelle Bryant’s feelings and their prior commitment.

Well, I wasn’t exactly shocked when they broke their word – but I sure did get mad about it. After all, it wasn’t just any ordinary event we were talking about; it was a charity fundraiser for brain tumors and cancer research, a cause close to my heart since my dad battled with the same. So yeah, I can understand if you find me a bit upset over this.

According to Daily Dish, neither Ashley nor Gizelle seem unwilling to reconsider their choice to exclude the other women. Instead, they appear to be justifying their actions.

It seems like Gizelle isn’t at fault for her actions, as she had organized and invited people to the event earlier than Karen did. The other women failed to honor their commitment, which is puzzling given their expulsion from an event that still had over an hour left, considering it was a more than three-hour event in total. This doesn’t appear to make sense.

They chose to back Karen instead of Gizelle or Ashley. It’s odd to them that they might not realize how this decision could cause pain, particularly since the occasion is a charity event held in memory of one of their friends’ deceased father.

If these women were subjected to the same treatment as Gizelle, they’d feel deeply wounded and enraged. It’s only natural, given their reaction, that they would have responded identically under similar circumstances. Therefore, it’s almost ironic that they’re taken aback and hurt by being excluded from an event they apparently didn’t deem important enough to RSVP for, especially since this exclusion seems like a further insult added to their injury.

It’s in episode 3 where we can expect further unfolding of the tension regarding the women being expelled from the gathering. Additionally, we’ll find out then what the consequences might be. It would indeed be beneficial if these ladies could express their regrets for failing to attend when they had promised. After all, arriving late, especially at a charitable event such as this one, is essentially not attending at all.

As a fellow gamer, here’s my take on the recent turn of events: I can’t help but reflect on the latest chapter we just experienced. Frankly, I’m curious about your perspective on Gizelle’s actions. Was she justified in her decisions during this episode? I must admit, the reason behind her kicking those women out left me puzzled. Could you shed some light on that? And honestly, I can’t help but wonder if it was fair to place blame on her for what transpired. Let’s discuss!
