Kelly Marie Tran, Benedict Wong, Jimmy O. Yang to star in new horror film Rock Springs

Yang in the lead roles, this movie promises an electrifying blend of talent and terror that I simply can’t wait to witness.
As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the mind behind the chilling tales of “Two Sentence Horror Stories,” Vera Miao, is diving into a new terrifying venture: a horror film named “Rock Springs.” I’ll be the one penning the script and taking the director’s chair for this spine-tingling project. The star-studded cast includes Kelly Marie Tran, Benedict Wong, and Jimmy O. Yang, so get ready to experience fear in a whole new light!
The storyline centers around a trio – a young girl, her mother, and grandmother – who, following the demise of their father, opt to relocate to Rock Springs, Wyoming. However, not long after settling in, they uncover a chilling history of the town and realize that a terrifying creature dwells within the forest near their newly acquired home, putting their lives at stake.
Tran is most recognized for her roles as Rose Tico in both “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” and “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”, and as the voice of Raya in the animated feature film “Raya and the Last Dragon”. Furthermore, she acted as Jules Shaw in the brief-running drama series “Sorry for Your Loss” and as Rosie Zhang during the third and concluding season of the fantasy series “Sweet Tooth”.
Wong, a character you may remember from his appearances in Marvel’s Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is one actor. On the other hand, Yang is famously known for his role as Jian-Yang in the comedy series Silicon Valley, and he’s also starred as Dr. Chan Kaifang in Netflix’s workplace comedy series Space Force, as well as Josh Lin in the Netflix romantic comedy Love Hard.
In addition to Tran, Wong, and Yang, actors Aria Kim (known for her role in “Whisper”) and Fiona Fu (recognized from “Blood and Water”, “Away”) are also part of the cast. The production companies involved in this horror movie include Macro Film Studios, Juniper Productions, Mandalay Pictures, Counterculture, and Gold House. Stephen Feder and Kiri Hart are producing through Counterculture, while Macro is represented by James Lopez, Poppy Hanks, and Greta Talia Fuentes. Matthew Lindner is from Juniper Productions, and Jason Michael Berman and Jordan Moldo hail from Mandalay Pictures.
