Emma Willis celebrates her 50th birthday with wild £25K house party as her celeb pals Rylan, Dermot O’Leary and Tamzin Outhwaite are treated to personalised tattoos before donning wigs and belting out karaoke classics

Emma Willis celebrated her milestone 50th with a raucous birthday party on Saturday night.

As a lifestyle expert, I always love hearing about beautiful celebrations, and Emma Willis and Matt Willis absolutely nailed theirs! They hosted their friends at the stunning Old Sessions House in Clerkenwell – it’s a gorgeous, historic building, a former courthouse actually, and a truly unique venue. It was such a chic choice!

The party was attended by Emma’s colleagues from This Morning and Radio 2, including Rylan Clark, who debuted a more natural look after reversing some cosmetic procedures, and Dermot O’Leary. Actress Tamzin Outhwaite and comedian Tom Allen were also among the guests.

Guests were free to enjoy the charmingly rustic venue, which is available for private events for around £25,000.

A live karaoke band kept the party lively, and everyone – including the birthday woman and her husband – took turns singing.

Rylan revisited his time on The X Factor by performing the Spice Girls’ hit, ‘Wannabe.’ He then teamed up with Giovanna Fletcher for a lively rendition of Beyoncé’s ‘Single Ladies,’ complete with playful wigs.

Emma turned heads in a stylish red plaid minidress while enjoying a night out with her husband, Matt, 42.

Downstairs in the basement, popular tattoo artist Adam Claridge – known for his work with the Beckhams – was also working.

He offered temporary tattoos at the party, with designs like smiley faces and the phrase ‘kiss me’.

It was such a lovely touch when Sheila Simmons, who you might remember from Britain’s Got Talent, got everyone singing ‘Happy Birthday’! Afterwards, we all enjoyed some delicious snacks and drinks – it really made the party special.

Everyone was surprised, but Dermot turned out to be amazing at karaoke! He powerfully sang Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark” and then followed it up with Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.”

Emma’s husband, known from the show ‘Busted,’ took to the stage and performed Green Day’s ‘Basket Case’ while Emma and her friends danced and cheered.

Emma closed out the night, singing another Spice Girls hit, Stop, with a group of girlfriends.

Rylan, a close friend, gave a glimpse of the speeches, where Emma expressed gratitude to her family and friends while also making everyone laugh from the top of the stairs.

Alistair Martin, who handles the band’s instruments, shared online that he started Live Karaoke Band in 2008. They’ve played at some fantastic venues, including Abbey Road Studios with Jonathon Hall, Henley Rewind Festival, and the Isle of Wight Festival, as well as countless corporate events and weddings.

Last night was an unforgettable experience – we got to perform at Emma Willis’s birthday party in London! And honestly, it was the best gig we’ve ever played.

Emma and Matt are a wonderful couple with a lovely family, and they really know how to host a fun party with great friends who love to sing! We had an amazing time – thank you so much for the invitation.

He also mentioned that Tom Allen is just as delightful in person as he appears on television (he admitted to being a big fan!), and Dermot O’Leary was incredibly kind and did a fantastic job performing ‘Since U Been Gone’ and ‘Dancing In The Dark’.

Matt Willis’s performance of Basket Case was incredibly energetic, and the night ended perfectly with Emma and her friends singing The Spice Girls’ hit, Stop.

Seeing Rylan perform ‘Wannabe’ was incredible – a real ‘pinch-me’ moment! I’m so glad I got to witness that, it’s been on my wish list for ages.

Days before the bash, Matt shared a sweet post to mark Emma’s milestone year.

The 42-year-old reality star, known from Busted, posted a collection of old photos celebrating his life with his wife, Emma, whom he married in 2008. He affectionately called her ‘my everything’ in the post.

In the first photo, Emma looked incredibly happy while posing with her chocolate birthday cake.

Matt continued by sharing pictures documenting Emma’s life, including a hospital stay right before she had one of their three children, a night out at a club, a tired moment at Disneyland, and a playful photo with Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters.

Turning fifty suits her wonderfully! I truly adore this woman – it’s a love I can’t even begin to describe. Honestly, all I ever want to do is spend time with her. She just makes everything better.

You mean the world to me! Happy birthday, Emma! Looking forward to many more years together. Lots of love! xxx

Giovanna Fletcher reacted with a red heart emoji, and Davinia Taylor wrote, ‘Beautiful woman and soul’.
