Rocker Jake E. Lee shot multiple times in Las Vegas, expected to fully recover, rep says

As a lifelong cinephile and musician, the news of Jake E. Lee being shot has sent a chill down my spine. His contributions to the world of rock have been nothing short of iconic, from his work with Ozzy Osbourne and Badlands to Cinderella and Red Dragon Cartel.

On a Las Vegas street on Tuesday, guitar virtuoso Jake E. Lee, known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, Cinderella, and Red Dragon Cartel, was unfortunately wounded in multiple gunshots, as confirmed by his representative on the same day.

67-year-old individual received gunshot wounds during the early hours of Tuesday, however, they are currently awake, alert and improving in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in Las Vegas as stated by spokesperson Amanda Cagan. It’s anticipated that he will make a full recovery.

According to Cagan, Las Vegas officials suspect that the shooting was entirely unrelated or spontaneous, happening as Lee was taking his dog for a stroll during the early hours of the day.

Since the event is being probed by the authorities, I won’t have any more comments for now. Let’s please honor Lee and his family’s request for privacy during this period, stated Cagan.

On Tuesday, The Times contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department about the shooting incident, but they didn’t provide an immediate response or comment.
