No actress really wants to film a bikini scene. It’s always a challenge, and honestly, I don’t enjoy doing them. I do it because it’s necessary for the story, and that’s my job as an actress, but they’re definitely the scenes I like the least.
It feels like I constantly have to battle my self-doubt and worries just to feel confident enough to wear a bikini and film scenes.
As a big fan of Landman, I’ve seen some folks online complain that Season 2 spends a little too much time with Angela and her daughter, Ainsley. But honestly, I really admire Rebecca Larter’s dedication to the role. She’s put in a ton of work, even for scenes she wasn’t thrilled about filming. Before the season even came out, she told me she was getting up at 4:30 AM for runs and really focusing on healthy eating – all to feel her best during those bikini scenes. It’s that kind of commitment that really shines through, even if you’re not crazy about the storyline.
‘Landman’s Biggest Gripe Has Centered on Angela and Ainsley Norris

It’s clear that Landman has quickly become one of Taylor Sheridan’s most successful shows. Its first season was a hit, and the second season broke all previous records. Season 3 is currently being filmed, and it’s expected to be popular on Paramount+ again next year. However, while Season 2 attracted a large audience, critics’ ratings decreased noticeably over time.
Season 2 of Landman received a significantly lower audience score on Rotten Tomatoes (44%) compared to its first season (65%). The main issue for viewers was the amount of time spent on storylines they found embarrassing or awkward. Some felt the new season resembled reality shows like Real Housewives – a shift from the more intense, *Breaking Badlike tone of Season 1. Creator Taylor Sheridan has faced criticism before for how his female characters are portrayed, and despite attempts to give two women more central roles this season, it doesn’t appear to have resonated with viewers.
