Fortnite's Rocket Racing Will No Longer Receive Themed Updates

As an avid gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the v31.40 update for Fortnite has brought about some exciting changes to Rocket Racing. After bidding farewell to Inferno Island, it’s refreshing to see the game taking a new direction, focusing on refreshed Ranked periods, Quests, and content created using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).

With the latest version 31.40 update in Fortnite, a fresh Ranked phase for Rocket Racing is introduced. However, developers Psyonix have announced that themed updates will cease, as they bid farewell to Inferno Island. Instead, future updates will concentrate on revitalized Ranked periods, new Car items, Quests, and content created with the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).

The upcoming changes will lead us down uncharted paths as we introduce revamped Ranking phases, redesigned Quests, and an array of new Car items for racing. This announcement reveals that fresh tracks from talented creators are being released daily, ensuring racers a constantly changing landscape to drift, flip, and fly through. Additionally, it hints at the possibility of creating your own starting lines within UEFN.

Apart from a rank restart, the Rocket Racing Speed Run leaderboard has received a refresh too. Update v31.40 introduces several bug corrections as well. These include troubles with progression tracking for Quests, mismatches in matchmaking when joining private creator-made tracks, and an issue related to the Beast Mode Boost while equipping it, among other glitches.

New Boost colours and trails, wheels, and more are also now available in Rocket Racing.

A fresh Ranking phase commences with version 31.40! Accomplish Weekly Missions, Ranked Missions, and Speed Run Time Trials Missions to secure new Automobile items.
