On Monday, Giovanni confirmed he is returning to UK television.
A skilled dancer departed from BBC’s Strictly following complaints about his conduct, which had been lodged by his previous celebrity partner, Amanda Abbington.
Currently, he is working with Channel Four’s team on their latest installment of Celebrity Hunted, as reported by The Sun.
The production of the show occurred in 2022, however, it was withheld following allegations of bullying made by Amanda, who is known for her role as Sherlock, against its manager.
Initially, the producers contemplated removing his episodes from the series entirely, however, they ultimately opted to postpone the show until January 2025 instead.
The BBC cleared the Sicilian of ten out of 16 allegations when its probe concluded in September.
In a review, it was found that six allegations were validated; among them were instances of bullying and harassment. As a result, the leaders at BBC issued an apology.
According to a source from the TV network, it was completely appropriate for the BBC to postpone the airing of “Hunted” temporarily, as they were working diligently to investigate the allegations against Giovanni.
‘It was filmed in 2022 and due to screen last year, but will now air in early 2025.’
The BBC report cleared Giovanni of violence, physical abuse, threats and intimidation.
In the course of the examination, I came across instances where the conduct was not quite professional, involving innuendos and suggestive remarks that were inappropriate for a work environment.
According to reports, Giovanni often employed profane language and spoke in a manner that was disrespectful, derogatory, and condescending.
