6 People Accuse Diddy of Sexual Assault in New Lawsuits, Including Man Who Was 16 at the Time

As a seasoned moviegoer with over four decades of witnessing the rise and fall of Hollywood’s most influential figures, I must say that the current situation surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs is nothing short of disheartening. The mounting allegations against him, including the recent accusations by minors, are truly alarming.

NEW YORK — Sean “Diddy” Combs faced a fresh wave of legal actions this week, with accusations including sexual assault against women, men, and the molestation of a 16-year-old boy. This is the first time he’s been sued by someone claiming to have experienced abuse during their minor years.

At least six lawsuits, some anonymous for the privacy of the plaintiffs, have been brought against Combs in a federal court in Manhattan. This increases the number of legal issues he is facing, all of which he has refuted. The women filing these suits are referred to as Jane Does, while the men are known as John Does.

Some people, following others who’ve made similar claims in recent times, assert that Combs exploited his celebrity status and the possibility of future fame to lure victims to extravagant parties or drug-filled gatherings. There, it is alleged, he would then physically or sexually assault them. Some claim he inflicted physical harm or drugged them. Others state that he threatened their lives if they didn’t comply with his wishes or spoke out against him.

The lawsuits detail claims of assaults that allegedly occurred as far back as the mid-1990s. These incidents are said to have taken place at various locations such as Diddy’s celebrity-filled parties in the Hamptons on Long Island, a party in Brooklyn honoring his then-collaborator Biggie Smalls, and even within the stockroom of Macy’s main department store in midtown Manhattan.

100 or more individuals, allegedly victims of sexual misconduct, are represented by their lawyers who are currently pursuing legal action against Combs. Following his September 16th federal sex trafficking arrest, this group intends to file lawsuits against him. On October 1st, Plaintiffs’ attorney Tony Buzbee announced the forthcoming litigation during a press conference and provided a toll-free number for victims to contact.

According to Combs’ lawyers, the strategies being used are blatant attempts to generate publicity. They firmly believe in the facts, their legal arguments, and the fairness of the judicial system. In the courtroom, they assert that the truth will emerge: Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone, regardless of age or gender.

54-year-old Combs stands accused in a criminal trial, where he denies charges that he exploited and mistreated multiple women over an extended period, utilizing a group of accomplices and employees. He is alleged to have suppressed victims’ voices through intimidation tactics like blackmail and violence, including kidnapping, arson, and physical assaults.

Twice refused bail, Sean Combs (also known as Diddy or Puff Daddy), founder of Bad Boy Records, continues to be detained at a federal prison in Brooklyn, as he waits for his trial in May. Two judges have decided that Combs could pose a threat to the community if released on bail. On Friday, a judge from an appeals court refused to grant Combs’ immediate release from jail while a panel of three judges from the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals considers his appeal for bail.

Prior to the numerous lawsuits filed on Monday, all individuals who had previously accused Combs of abuse were adults when the incidents allegedly occurred. However, a Chicago record producer alleged in a lawsuit filed in February that he possesses unquestionable proof of Combs engaging in sexual misconduct with minors.

On Monday, an individual identified as John Doe brought forth accusations in a lawsuit, claiming that Combs inappropriately touched his private areas when the accuser was 16 years old at one of Combs’ white parties in 1998. The individual, who currently resides in North Carolina, alleges that Combs made a comment about him having “the look” of a star and then suddenly demanded the teenager to lower his pants.

As stated in the lawsuit, the man claims that Combs told him it was a necessary step towards becoming a music star, at one point asking him: “Aren’t you eager to enter the industry?” The man alleges he went along out of fear, apprehension, and feeling powerless against Combs, realizing later that what transpired was an act of sexual assault.

On the same day, additional lawsuits were filed in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan, which detailed claims such as sexual assault, coerced oral sex, and administering drugs to render victims unconscious.

One of the women known as Jane Doe claims that in 2004, Combs raped her in a private hotel room after inviting her and a companion for a party, providing them with drinks, and encouraging them to use cocaine. The college freshman at the time alleges that Combs also coerced his friend into performing oral sex on him and threatened their lives if they did not obey.

In 1995, another woman named Jane Doe claimed that Combs physically assaulted and raped her in a bathroom during a party for Smalls’ music video “One More Chance.” Notably, Smalls, or the Notorious B.I.G., was tragically gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles two years later.

As stated by the woman, Combs led her into the bathroom for a private conversation, and then unexpectedly initiated a kiss. When she attempted to withdraw, she claims, he violently struck her head against the wall, causing her to tumble to the floor. She declared that she tried to flee but was hit again by Combs and allegedly raped.

Following our private conversation, the man casually repositioned his attire and cautioned me, “It’s best if you keep our encounter a secret. If word gets out, you might find yourself vanishing.” (Movie Critic perspective: In a subtle yet ominous manner, the character readjusted his wardrobe and warned me, hinting that divulging our secret could lead to my mysterious disappearance.)

In various lawsuits filed against John Combs, it’s claimed that he:

In simpler terms, the victim, who believes he was made unconscious by a spiked drink, remembers several individuals attacking him. He specifically mentions seeing Combs, who was not clothed, at one instance during the attack, according to his court claim.
