On Saturday, Matilde Mourinho, daughter of Jose Mourinho, exchanged vows with her partner Danny Graham in a grand wedding celebration held in Portugal.

28-year-old influencer is said to have exchanged wedding vows at a family farm located in Azeitao, surrounded by around 300 relatives and friends, as reported by the Spanish newspaper Marca.

It has also been reported that her football manager father, 61, organised a dinner for 80 guests the day before the wedding, at the José Maria da Fonseca House Museum.

The happy couple were joined for a second day of celebrations the day after the ceremony at Herdade do Perú, in Azeitão.

On the special occasion’s pictures, Matilde was absolutely breathtaking in a beautiful, white bridal gown adorned with intricate lace and a grand train.

The tight-fitting gown closely adhered to her slim silhouette, showcasing a graceful, off-shoulder style with a ruffled collar and long sleeves.

The jewelry artisan accessorized with a pair of elegant, minimalist diamond stud earrings and styled her lengthy tresses into a refined, sleek bun.

In a sharp black suit and bow tie, along with a matching boutonniere that mirrored his bride’s bouquet, Danny, the property consultant, presented an elegant image.

Friends and family of the newlyweds posted photos on their social media platforms, offering a peek at their extravagant wedding celebrations. In one picture, the happy couple can be seen dancing for the first time as husband and wife.

At their reception dinner, Matilde and Danny were captured looking deeply into each other’s eyes, surrounded by tables filled with candles and greenery, and an elegant glass ceiling decorated with dangling vines.

In the year 2016, their romantic journey commenced. Matilde is said to have taken him on a vacation to Portugal, where it was assumed they met her grandparents for the first time.

In August of the previous year, Danny knelt on one knee, and Matilde shared a photo of her large diamond ring on Instagram. Later in the summer, she went on a lavish bachelorette trip with her mom and friends.

Before her special event, she shared her expectations for the ceremony on the Annabelle podcast.

She said: ‘I am so happy at the idea of having all my friends and family together to celebrate in the same place. It’s non-negotiable that my friends and family are there.

Matilde graduated with a Master’s degree from Condé Nast College of Fashion and Design in 2021.

She went on to create her own jewellery brand in London called Matilde Sustainable Jewellery, who has collaborated with names like Stormzy and been worn regularly by her famous father.

Danny, her newly wedded spouse, serves as both the director and co-founder at real estate advisory firm Agace & Graham.

It’s intriguing that he bears the same name as the renowned striker known for scoring goals at Watford, Swansea City, and Blackburn Rovers.

Although Danny isn’t a professional footballer, he does show an affinity for the game due to his experience working as an intern with Major League Soccer team LA Galaxy back in August 2016.

Jose hasn’t discussed his daughter’s wedding as of now, but in 2022, he hinted at his excitement to take on the role of grandfather.

If he were to become a grandfather, the previous manager of Manchester United and Chelsea expressed that he might consider adding to his existing collection of tattoos.

Previously, Jose sported tattoos on his upper right arm depicting the Champions League trophy, flanked by both the Europa League and Europa Conference League cups.

After becoming the first manager to secure all three trophies, he opted to acquire a new design following his success in winning the debut Europa Conference League with his former team, Roma, in 2022.

Regarding additional tattoos, he mentioned: “I made a vow to show everyone. My plan is to get an exclusive ink representing my achievement: the three European Cups I’ve won.

It seems that the wedding date was skillfully chosen so that Matilde’s father could attend the ceremony to escort her on her way down the aisle.
