Amanda Owen reveals what life has been like following split from her former husband and co-star Clive as the pair reunite to film new show

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that watching Amanda Owen and her ex-husband Clive reunite for their new show is a fascinating glimpse into resilience and adaptability. Their ability to put personal differences aside for the sake of their farm and family is truly commendable.

Amanda Owen recently shared insights about her current life after the end of her marriage with her fellow cast member and ex-husband, Clive.

As they got back together to shoot their fresh series, offering fans a peek at their ongoing collaboration, the truthful admission emerged.

Despite splitting after more than 20 years of marriage, the TV presenter, 50 and her former partner, 69, have teamed up once again for their latest series.

Although the previous pair appear to maintain a friendly relationship, it’s unlikely that their new series will revive their romantic connection, which may disheartened many of their fans.

In 2011, the owners of Swandale Farm in Yorkshire first appeared on screens, giving viewers a glimpse into the authenticity of farm life on their homestead.

The show followed the couple as they ran their farm and brought up their nine children.

However, their peaceful family existence fell apart following their separation in 2022, marking the end of their 22-year long marriage.

Although they’ve ended their romantic involvement, Amanda and Clive have persisted in managing their Ravenseat farm jointly. They’ve even embarked on an immense project – the reconstruction of a stone barn.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that a cherished local spot, affectionately known as Anty John’s, is poised for a remarkable transformation into a vibrant family hub, according to The Sun.

Amanda told the publication: ‘When Anty John’s was put up for sale, it was a dream come true.

For the benefit of tomorrow, it’s important to provide them with a space that feels like home, given their numerous numbers.

Regardless of their aspirations, I find myself continually frustrated that the historic structure they once shared is listed, hence imposing stringent regulations on any modifications allowed.

Apart from handling planning regulations, Amanda and Clive will also need to address issues such as the lack of a suitable access road and a functional roof on the barn.

Despite being dedicated to their shared project, they’ve disclosed the truth about collaboration after their separation.

Amanda exclaimed, “He really gets under my skin, and I think I get under his too,” she chuckled. “However, fundamentally, we’re on the same team.

The house earned its nickname due to Anthony John Clarkson, a mapmaker and diarist who resided in the barn during the 1800s. His works serve as an eye-opening insight.

Amada shared that she found herself greatly influenced by the detailed accounts of extravagant gatherings, rumors, romantic entanglements, and the writer’s social world as recorded in her diary.

In this upcoming five-part series, I’ll be taking you along on Amanda and Clive’s incredible journey – their very own “labour of love” project – for its entire first year.

Amanda mentioned that the entire family will pitch in to contribute towards making the project ideal for the future residents of the house.

2022 saw the end of Amanda’s and Clive’s partnership, which also marked the conclusion of their joint venture, Ravenseat Farm, on Channel 5.

The couple revealed they were breaking up following the public disclosure of the Yorkshire Stewardess’ relationship with her lover, Robert.

In simpler terms, Robert, a man who’s been through five marriages, is now ending his marriage with his wife Yasumi, aged 57, following her public revelation of an affair between them back in April the previous year.

It was discovered that Robert’s wife found a love note from Amanda hidden in the trunk of his vehicle. The note said, “Dear Robert, life is fleeting and joy is scarce. I adore you.

Clive and Amanda initiated divorce proceedings a year ago, but despite the separation, they’ve managed to stay amicable for the sake of their nine children – Raven (22), Reuben (20), Miles (17), Edith (15), Violet (13), Sidney (12), Annas (10), Clemmy (8), and seven-year-old Nancy.

Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive And Kids, Monday, 9pm, More4, stream on Channel 4.
