Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) recently revealed its esports plans for 2026, and the first events are now starting. The Call of Duty Mobile Major Spring 2026 tournament has begun, bringing together top esports teams within the CODM community.

Call of Duty Mobile Major Spring 2026: Schedule and Format

Tencent Games and TiMi Studio are co-hosting this event, with China serving as the host nation and keeping things on track. The event will be held both online and in person, culminating in a final showdown between teams.

The event will run for over two months, from March to May 2026. What’s particularly exciting is the participation of teams from outside of China, meaning we can expect a truly international competition.

The competition begins with a regular season where each team plays every other team once. Matches are best-of-five, and the two highest-ranking teams move directly into the upper bracket of the playoffs. Teams finishing 3rd through 10th will compete in a Last Chance Qualifier, while the remaining teams are out of the running.

Next comes the LCQ, a two-part competition with upper and lower bracket matches. The team that finished third gets to pick who they want to play from the 5th or 6th place teams, and the 4th place team will face the remaining one. The winners of these matches will advance to the upper bracket of the Playoffs.

The team finishing seventh gets to pick their opponent from the teams in ninth or tenth place, and the eighth-place team takes the remaining one. All winners then move into the lower bracket of the tournament.

The Playoffs are divided into several stages. It starts with Round 1, leading up to the Quarterfinals. Teams in the lower bracket then compete in the Semifinals. Finally, the winners of both Semifinals face off in the Grand Finals – the deciding match that determines the champion!
