Kate Ferdinand transforms into fairy godmother while husband Rio looks unrecognisable in Lord Farquaad costume as she shares hilarious snap of the whole family dressed up as characters from Shrek
As a dedicated follower and admirer of Kate Ferdinand, I must say that she continues to impress me with her strength, grace, and unwavering commitment to her family. Her recent Halloween festivities, where she transformed into the fairy godmother while her husband Rio became Lord Farquaad, were a testament to their loving bond and playful spirit.
On Saturday evening, Kate Ferdinand, along with her spouse Rio and their entire family, amusingly donned costumes based on characters from the film Shrek for Halloween.
Previously known TOWIE celebrity, aged 33, donned a fairy godmother outfit, while Rio was hardly recognizable with his Lord Farquaad attire.
In a fun twist, Rio’s child Tate donned the famous Shrek attire, whereas their little ones sported garments depicting a gingerbread man and Donkey respectively.
She captioned her post: ‘What are you doing in my swamp?’
Kate serves as stepmother to Rio Ferdinand’s children Tate, Lorenz, and Tia (aged 13), from his previous marriage to Rebecca Ellison. Sadly, Rebecca passed away in 2015 following a brief fight with breast cancer. Together with Rio, they have a three-year-old son named Cree and a newborn daughter called Shae.
After Kate’s stunning appearance, she posted a bikini selfie on Instagram while vacationing in August.
Previously on TOWIE, the star showcased her toned midriff in a revealing brown bikini with a coordinating, waist-skimming skirt. She completed her stylish seaside ensemble with a straw cowboy hat and sunglasses.
Additionally, the well-known media figure posted a collection of charming photos featuring her child and ex-soccer star husband Rio for her audience of 1.4 million followers.
In simple terms, Kate displayed her small daughter wearing a blue swimming outfit and a coordinating blue sunhat as she leaned over the pool’s edge to plant a swift kiss on Rio.
As well as her cute family snaps, Kate also gave fans a glimpse into her wardrobe.
In one photo, Kate showed off her figure in an a-symmetric cream crotchet top.
I couldn’t help but slip on a pair of shades and adorn my wrists with golden bracelets as I struck a pose for a selfie within our luxurious vacation abode, completely enamored with the moment.
Rio could be seen in the background of the snap looking at his phone in a matching white shirt.
In a third photo, the TV personality posted a loved-up picture of her and her husband Rio in sportswear, showing just a glimpse of her toned midriff in a cropped top.
Additionally, the TV personality shared a peek at her fitness routine by capturing herself in the mirror, clad in a sleek pair of black cycling shorts and a sporty sports bra, highlighting her toned physique.
Instead of constantly chronicling their sun-soaked vacation, the members of the Ferdinand family decided to take a brief pause from sharing updates, instead focusing on celebrating their stepson’s impressive GCSE results.
On Wednesday morning, the star posted a photo of Tate’s test results envelope on Instagram and expressed how incredibly proud they were of him.
Instead of saying “After wishing everyone ‘good luck’, she penned: ‘Super proud today & everyday, well done for putting in that work. Always knew you could. Love you loads.’, she might rephrase it as follows: “She expressed her pride and admiration, stating ‘I’m incredibly proud of you every day, keep up the good work! I always had faith in your abilities. Sending you lots of love.’
