Her significant weight loss has received a lot of attention, similar to the TV show The Apprentice, and has led people to wonder if she used weight loss injections.
Baroness Karren Brady says she got in shape through diet and exercise, not through quick-fix injections.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve noticed a frustrating trend, and I wanted to address it directly. There’s been a lot of chatter lately, and honestly, I’ve been asked about weight loss drugs like Ozempic quite a bit. Let me be clear: I don’t use them. What I do wish is that the focus would shift from appearances and back to what I actually do – my work and contributions. It’s just disheartening when that’s not the priority.
People should have the freedom to make their own choices about their bodies, and I fully support that. However, sometimes people act as if they have all the answers or make assumptions without knowing the full story.
Whether or not I chose to do something with my body is my decision. I believe the way people discuss women’s bodies often aims to make them feel bad about themselves or question their worth.
She shared that she’s faced criticism about her weight her whole life, being told she was both too fat and too thin. Ultimately, she just wants to feel strong, both in body and mind.
Lord Sugar, 56, has confessed to losing up to five kilograms before each series of The Apprentice. He explained he does this to maintain his usual appearance and avoid looking significantly larger than the fit and healthy Alan Sugar.
Despite being a busy mom of two, she’s committed to staying in shape and makes time for regular workouts.
She emphasized the importance of making time for exercise, especially as we age. She personally sticks to a consistent fitness plan that includes cardio, weight training, and occasional swimming.
I usually go three or four times a week, but I don’t have a fixed schedule. Between my full-time job and frequent voting commitments at the House of Lords, I just go whenever I have the time.
Besides her role on The Apprentice, Karren Brady loves being a grandmother to her two grandsons, Leo, who is 22 months old, and George, who is four months old. Her daughter, Sophia Peschisolido, is their mother.
She shared how much she enjoys being with her grandchildren. Her grandson, Leo, will turn two in March, and her youngest, George, is four months old. She admitted her daughter is busy taking care of them, but emphasized how fulfilling it is to be a grandparent.
Grandchildren fill your life with pure joy and laughter. It’s wonderful to spoil them and shower them with attention. However, keeping up with them can be tiring – you quickly remember how much energy kids have and how little they like to stay still!
‘You need eyes in the back of your head. It’s wonderful, though.’
The businesswoman recently shared that becoming a grandmother inspired her to lose weight.
I’ve really been focusing on my health lately! Becoming a grandma was a huge joy, and I knew I wanted to be an active, healthy one. So, I made a commitment to eating well and getting regular exercise – it’s been amazing!
I haven’t signed up for the Ozempic Club – it seems like a lot of effort. Losing weight is one thing, but maintaining the loss is the real challenge.
I’ve lost some weight, although I’m not sure exactly how much since I don’t track it. I feel healthier as a result, and it’s nice that my clothes fit better now.
