As a long-time fan of Strictly Come Dancing, I must say this season has been nothing short of thrilling! The drama, the dance, and the camaraderie – it all makes for an unforgettable experience. It’s heartening to see our favorite celebrities stepping out of their comfort zones and giving their best on the dance floor.

On a lively note, Strictly’s Sam Quek and Shayne Ward exited their London hotel with enthusiasm, making their way towards the studio, all set for this weekend’s live performance.

35-year-old sensational hockey player from Great Britain looked relaxed in a black sweater and jogging pants, layered with a cream bomber jacket and Nike sneakers.

In my commitment to embracing my authentic self, I decided to go without makeup, letting my natural beauty shine, as I headed to the dress rehearsal with a spacious black duffel bag in tow. This was just before the fourth week’s performance.

Simultaneously, at the age of 39, artist Shayne sported khaki shorts and a gray sweater. He also flashed a ‘thumbs up’ gesture to passersby.

Immediately back on screen the next day, following the confirmation that Nick Knowles would indeed dance, having sustained two injuries during his stint on the program.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I found myself in quite a pickle last Friday when medical professionals shared some fantastic news: I’d be back on my feet and grooving to the rhythm again by Saturday, just a week after an unfortunate mishap that required me to step down from Movie Week.

After remaining quiet, Nick shared some good news on Instagram, stating that he plans to return on Saturday evening. He confessed that he felt the absence last week and has been bitten by the dancing bug once again.

He began: ‘Hello everyone. Well I watched last week show feeling so sad that I wasn’t there. Of course I loved cheering on everyone else but I really missed it. I missed being part of it.

I didn’t anticipate falling in love with dancing when I joined Strictly, but now I can confirm that I’ve definitely been bitten by the dancing bug. So, I’m thrilled to return tomorrow!

Expressing heartfelt appreciation, he mentioned: ‘I’m deeply thankful to every physical therapist and the medical staff at the BBC who helped me stand again. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night.’

A representative from the BBC added: “Everyone is thrilled that Nick Knowles and Luba Mushtuk will be taking to the dance floor in this weekend’s performance. After being given the all-clear by our medical and physical therapy teams, Nick is now ready to dance again following his injury last week.

Because they had some time off from training this week, they’ll be dancing the Charleston for Movies Week, set to the tune “Rain on the Roof” from the movie Paddington 2.

On Fridays’ episode of It Takes Two, Fleur East disclosed to her followers that Nick Knowles and Luba would be performing their delayed Charleston routine during the show on Saturday.

On Wednesday, he resumed rehearsals, ready to dance with his professional partner Luba.

Fans expressed their joy on Twitter about Nick returning to the show, writing: “Nick and Luba will dance tomorrow!!!” (implying that they are looking forward to it).

On Saturdays, Nick Knowles and his partner Luba will show off their dancing skills on Strictly Come Dancing. We can’t wait to see them do the Paddington charleston! However, it seems like it’s a fast-paced routine. I just hope Nick’s knee holds up alright.

Another joked: ‘Nick Knowles has been cleared to dance tomorrow (phew!) although i’ve got a suspiction he might be in the dance-off with Paul on Sunday-See you tomorrow at 6:20.’

Immediately following Nick’s disclosure about a significant health development concerning his participation in Strictly, this occurred on Wednesday.

In my latest engagement, I delightfully updated my cherished followers not only through my vibrant Instagram space but also during a captivating chat with the enchanting Luba on the ever-popular It Takes Two show.

In the Instagram video, he shared with followers: “Today’s great news is that the physiotherapists have given me the all-clear to resume training starting tomorrow, while I’m backstage at It Takes Two.

On Saturday, it’s still uncertain. I need to see how things go tomorrow, after which a decision will be made on Friday.

Of course, I’ll keep you informed throughout our progress. However, I feel it’s important to express my gratitude for the kind words and support I’ve received so far. I’m optimistic that I’ll be able to dance this coming Saturday.

During the spin-off show It Takes Two, hosted by Janette Manrara on BBC, Nick provided a detailed explanation of the events that transpired on Friday.

He explained: ‘We’d had a great week learning the dance and we were doing the camera tech rehearsals where the cameras get to see how the dance works and everything.

At the final moment of the dance, I found myself arriving too late at the required spot and had to jump in order to reach it. Unfortunately, when I landed, only one of my legs moved while the rest of my body continued past it.

‘Had a bit of a collapse and realised it wasn’t in a good position. I hurt my knee basically.’

On the positive note, he remarked: “Every day seems to improve slightly. To tell the truth, things appeared quite grim on Friday. Saturday wasn’t great either, but I had a scan, so we chose to wait till Monday for a proper examination.

On Monday, things felt a tad more challenging, but today I visited the physical therapists, and with assistance from everyone in rehabilitation and physical therapy as well as medical professionals, I’ve received the green light to attempt dancing for training purposes tomorrow.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d put it this way: “Tomorrow’s training session could potentially be just one step in my ongoing journey. I’ll give it my best, and only time will tell how it goes. For now, let’s focus on the present and prepare as well as we can.

It also comes after Strictly Come Dancing: The Official Podcast was axed by the BBC.

The company has verified to OK! that the podcast, which has discussed every season since 2019, will not come back in this year.

Under the guidance of Joe Sugg, who previously contested alongside his current partner Dianne Buswell in the 2018 season, and executive producer Kim Winston, this podcast served as a platform for fans to delve into exclusive backstage details, engage in extensive interviews, and discuss juicy gossip surrounding the series.

According to a spokesperson for the BBC, they announced in early 2024 that “Strictly Come Dancing: The Official Podcast” would be discontinued.

We’re extremely pleased with the past six seasons and extend our heartfelt thanks to Joe Sugg, Kim Wiston, and the entire crew for their efforts that led to its success. If you’re a fan of Strictly, don’t forget to catch our weekly TV podcast, Off The Telly.

The representative stated that Joanna Page and Natalie Cassidy, from Off The Telly, will share their views about the show rather than host it.

In last weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing, the singing sensation Toyah Willcox along with her partner Neil Jones were the ones to exit, following their loss against Paul Merson and Karen Hauer during the dance-off.

After the judge’s ruling, Toyah enthusiastically praised Neil as ‘extraordinary’ and expressed that participating in the show had been ‘the most wonderful two months of my existence!’

After receiving a score of 15 out of 40 on Saturday and finding themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard, Toyah and Neil repeated their performance, dancing the Samba to “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid.

While Paul and Karen danced the Cha Cha to “The Magnificent Seven” theme song, they started with a total of 19 points.

In the end, following their dance, the judges announced their decisions, and it was Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke who decided to keep Paul and Karen on the competition.
