Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered Announced For February 2025 Release

As a seasoned adventurer and longtime fan of Lara Croft’s escapades, I can hardly contain my excitement! The news that Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is coming next February has sent me into a frenzy. You see, I vividly remember my first encounter with the original games, the thrill of exploring ancient ruins and solving intricate puzzles, all while battling nefarious villains.

In a recent announcement, Aspyr has revealed that the remastered versions of Tomb Raider IV to VI will be available in February 2025. This follows the release of the remastered Tomb Raider I-III, which came out one year prior.

The second compilation to be released will gather the fourth and fifth titles from the original PlayStation’s Tomb Raider series – 1999’s Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and 2000’s Tomb Raider Chronicles, along with the 2003 game for PlayStation 2, Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.

In The Last Revelation, Lara embarks on an expedition to Egypt in pursuit of the Amulet of Horus, mastering the skill of rope-swinging along the way; on the other hand, Tomb Raider: Chronicles portrays Lara as apparently deceased, with her companions recalling and reliving four past escapades through flashbacks.

In Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, Lara Croft embarks on a complex and intricate adventure, one that finds her falsely accused of killing her mentor, Werner Von Croy. This accusation sets Lara on the run, where she becomes entangled in a chilling murder investigation surrounding a serial killer infamously known as ‘the Monstrum’.

In a fresh, conversational style: Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered offers an upgrade to high-definition visuals, allowing you to switch between classic and updated graphics at your convenience. You can opt for the original tank controls or modern ones, keep track of boss health with new bars on screen, snap photos using a built-in mode, and earn over 150 achievements.

Three additional Lara Croft’s timeless journeys await you as Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered hits the shelves for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on the 14th of February, 2025.
