As a fan who has been hooked since the very first episode of Trigger Point, I am absolutely thrilled to hear that Vicky McClure and her team will be back for another heart-pounding season! Having lived through their high-pressure, life-or-death situations vicariously through my television screen, I can’t wait to see what new twists and turns the writers have in store for us.

It has been confirmed by ITV that Vicky McClure’s well-known crime drama series, “Trigger Point,” will continue for a third season.

According to the announcement, the program is coming back on air after the impressive viewership of its second season this year, with an average of 8.1 million viewers tuning in.

In addition, season two of our show has been viewed more than 30 million times on ITVX, making it the second most popular drama series on ITV1 this year, trailing slightly behind “Mr. Bates vs The Post Office“.

In the upcoming third season, McClure is set to return as Lana Washington. This season will focus on Lana and her bomb squad team, who find themselves dealing with a seemingly ordinary bomb threat that later uncovers an ominous plot of revenge.

As a dedicated follower, I can’t help but share this thrilling plotline: “I’m hot on the trail of an elusive adversary who’s wreaking havoc and seeking retribution. Joining forces with the Counterterrorism Police Unit, we’re in a high-stakes race against time to track down the bomber before they strike again, claiming another innocent life.

For the third season, we have Eric Shango reprising his role as Danny, Nabil Elouahabi coming back as Hassan Rahim, Natalie Simpson returning as DS Helen Morgan, and Maanuv Thiara resuming his character, DI Amar Batra.
