I’ve just finished watching the initial episode, and let me tell you, I’m absolutely hooked! The series Sweetpea primarily revolves around Rhiannon, played by Purnell. She’s rather reserved, and her life seems to be a constant struggle. Invisible to most, she’s often overlooked on the streets and in public settings. Her boss undervalues her potential, confining her to the role of a receptionist, while her father is terminally ill.

For Rhiannon, a past confrontation becomes unavoidable when her former high school tormentor reappears, seemingly untouched by time, stirring up feelings of injustice within her. This encounter carries severe implications, as portrayed in the first episode of Sweetpea, titled “Sorry For Your Loss”. Here’s a brief summary:

When her father dies, and her school bully returns to town, a quiet wallflower is triggered to a violent breaking point.
