Lisa Marie Presley claims mom Priscilla’s ex-boyfriend molested her as a child in bombshell memoir
As a dedicated follower of the world of celebrities and their personal lives, I find myself deeply saddened and disturbed by the allegations made against Mike in Lisa Marie Presley‘s posthumous memoir. The experiences she describes are harrowing and raise serious questions about the treatment of children within the entertainment industry.
According to Lisa Marie Presley, Mike Edwards, a former partner of her mother Priscilla Presley, allegedly abused or inappropriately touched her.
In her memoir, “From Here to the Great Unknown,” published posthumously in January 2023 following completion by her daughter Riley Keough, Lisa Marie, who passed away earlier this year, claims that Michael allegedly inappropriately touched her when she was only ten years old.
According to Lisa Marie’s memoir, she recounted an incident that occurred when she was ten years old. On one particular night, someone entered her bedroom and gently tapped her leg with a finger.
According to Lisa Marie’s writing, she stated that the individual told her he would instruct her about changes as she grew older. He was touching her chest and explaining that certain parts of a man’s body would interact with these specific areas on her. His hand moved between her legs, and he added that similar areas on him would be affected by her too.
Priscilla dated Mike from 1977 until 1984.
Mike, now 80, began his career as a model.
He played Ted Gelber, Joan Crawford’s lover in the movie Mommie Dearest, released in 1981.
He appeared in Terminator 2: Judgement Day in 1991.
In her memoir, Lisa Marie, the daughter of music icon Elvis Presley, mentioned that she believes he tenderly planted a kiss on me before departing that particular evening.
The following day, she informed her mother, Priscilla, about it and penned down that she had stormed into her bedroom, shutting the door forcefully, before summoning Lisa Marie to join her inside.
Lisa Marie said that Priscilla told her Mike wanted to apologize to her.
Edwards appeared quite downcast as he sat on the bed. He apologized, explaining, “I’m truly sorry, but in Europe, children are often taught this way, which is why I did it.
However, after his apology, Lisa Marie alleged that it continued, according to her memoir.
‘Eventually it became that he would touch me and spank me, telling me not to look [at him].
In her post, Lisa Marie implied that he was masturbating. Since he reacted calmly and didn’t seem angry, she had been touched inappropriately while seated on his lap, which left bruises of various colors on her behind.
As she drew near to her mother Priscilla and displayed the bruises, it brought back the memory of her saying, “So, what was it that led to those marks?
On the instances when Priscilla challenged him, Lisa Marie stated that he would respond by saying he was ‘under the influence’ or that she was ‘making advances’ towards him instead.
The memoir was published posthumously on October 8, as Lisa Marie was in the process of completing it when she passed away. Following her death, her daughter Riley finished and released the memoir.
On the 12th of January, 2023, Lisa Marie passed away at the age of 54 following complications from bariatric surgery that resulted in a blockage within her small intestine.
She died two days after attending the Golden Globe awards with Riley and Priscilla Presley.
Page Six contacted Mike for his response, and he shared with them: “I’m stunned by this allegation… I consider Lisa Marie as my daughter. During that time, I believe Lisa wasn’t very stable.
He added that no one from the publishing house reached out to him prior to the book’s publication.
In my professional opinion, as a lifestyle expert, when I read Mike’s 1988 book, “Elvis, Priscilla and Me,” it became clear that he had strong feelings for Lisa. He confessed to being sexually attracted to her and admitted his affection for her, stating that he was ‘in love’ with her.
Originally, Priscilla and I were always together, but now it’s Lisa who spends most of her time with me. Just like Elvis used to impatiently wait for Priscilla to come home from school every day, I found myself constantly checking the clock, waiting for Lisa’s school to finish.
In addition, Lisa Marie shared details in her memoir regarding her choice to store her late son Benjamin’s remains in a guesthouse at her Los Angeles residence. She employed dry ice as a means of preservation for approximately two months following his suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27.
Lisa Marie also got a matching tattoo as Benjamin amid her grieving process.
Riley said she wanted to get his name and to get a matching tattoo with him on her hand.
When the tattoo artist inquired if Lisa Marie had any pictures useful for the procedure, she led him to where Ben and his ashes were kept.
Eventually, they held the funeral in Malibu and interred Benjamin at Graceland, the place where Lisa Marie rests – close to Elvis Presley, who passed away in 1977 at the young age of 42 due to a heart attack.
