Catherine is known as a highly accomplished and trusted TV documentary journalist, whose work primarily exposes wrongdoings within esteemed organizations. However, her entire existence undergoes a significant change following an unexpected event.
Initially captivated by the book, Catherine soon realizes that it isn’t a work of fiction, but rather a reenactment of the day when Catherine found herself bound to a hidden truth, a secret known only to one other person who is now deceased, as suggested in the summary.
Besides her, the only other individual believed to know this secret – as far as she was aware – has passed away. Now, she’s grappling with the reality about that terrible and momentous day.
In the throes of an unbearable ordeal, Catherine finds solace in unraveling the events of that devastating day. She must face the reality, no matter how shattering it could be to her.
Her doting husband is played by Sacha, and her on-screen son is portrayed by Kodi Smit-McPhee.
Kevin Kline and Lesley Manville are also part of the all-star cast.
The cast also includes South Korean actress HoYeon Jung, along with Liv Hill, Gemma Jones, and Anya Marco Harris.

The production started in June 2022, with filming taking place in London, Mexico, and Sydney, and was concluded in February of the previous year.
