As I delve into this heartwarming tale of resilience and talent, I can’t help but be struck by the stories of these contestants on The Voice. Each one has a journey unique to them, filled with challenges, tears, and triumphs.

17-year-old singer Shye left Gwen Stefani amazed with her talents during Tuesday’s episode of The Voice on NBC.

Shye earned a four-chair turn as she sang Five For Fighting’s popular song, “Superman.” It wasn’t until Gwen heard a few initial notes that she pressed her button.

The performer admitted that she missed her own high school graduation ceremony to give a performance, and further stated, “I believe I chose wisely by attending this event instead.

Gwen remarked, “I really should take a moment to deeply contemplate because I haven’t felt this exhilarated about an artist during this entire season.

Initially, those opening chords seemed incredibly sincere and authentic, as if they originated from a divine talent bestowed upon you. That’s typically how it works when someone possesses such a unique gift. You, with your exceptional abilities, appear to be an ideal fit for my team.

Michael Bublé, 49, also lobbied hard for her to join his team after the four chair turn.

Michael expressed, “Your voice really touches me, Shye. You’re charming, and it’s delightful! I’d be thrilled to embark on an adventure with you.

The other coaches also tried to sign Shye but she picked Michael in the end.

The fourth night of the blind auditions opened with J.Paul, 37, from Washington, DC, a backup singer for Stephanie Mills, singing Michael McDonald’s hit I Keep Forgettin’ and he scored a three-chair turn.

Gwen and Michael Bublé, aged 49, swayed in their seats rhythmically while she was singing. Reba pressed her button just seconds before the music stopped.

Snoop Dogg, aged 52, expressed that he was pleased to have him as part of the family, hinting at a future jest where he might “borrow” or enjoy his company more frequently.

Gwen rose from her seat, encouraged both the audience and J. Paul to join her in performing her famous track “Hollaback Girl”. This was to demonstrate that she could effectively support him as one of his cheerleaders.

Gwen expressed, “I’d love to have you on my team, as we collaborate on song selections. It would be great for the public to discover your talent. So, if you’re open, I’d be thrilled to help.

Michael said he wanted to be his collaborator and would learn from him.

‘You are the real deal we are looking for,’ Michael said.

J.Paul picked Michael. Michael ran up and gave him a jersey.

17-year-old Sloane Simon, hailing from Pittsburgh, performed Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten,” leaving two judges impressed enough to swivel around in their seats.

She shared before she took the stage that her mother got her first guitar when she was only eight years old and said she had played every day since.

She shared that not only was her mother diagnosed with cancer but her father also was diagnosed with a metastatic melanoma. She dedicated her song to her father who she hoped would get better.

Michael and Gwen both pressed the buzzer for her. Michael informed her that the day marked his wedding anniversary, suggesting she might consider joining his team. However, Gwen interjected and made it clear that she dislikes dishonesty, revealing instead that it was actually her third work anniversary.

‘You know Carson married us,’ Gwen said.

‘That’s the cutest thing ever,’ Michael said.

‘This is such a hard decision but I’ve got to go with Gwen!’ Sloane said.

26-year-old Michael Alexandersson from Salado, Texas, sang Ain’t That a Kick in the Head by Dean Martin and Nelson Riddle. Almost instantly, Snoop and Gwen pressed their buzzers and turned to face him. In the end, Michael decided to join Team Snoop.

‘Go ahead dog,’ Snoop said as he sang.

Gwen commented, ‘Your singing was fantastic when I heard you!’ It was quite surprising because your vocal talent didn’t seem to match your appearance at first sight. But when I turned around and saw you, it made for a very intriguing experience.

Gwen said she would love to work with him.

Snoop suggested that you should head over to the DO double place, shout out to him, and he’d quickly enroll you in a crash course for passing quickly. After that, everything would be fine.

Michael laughed.

‘I’m going to have to pick Snoop,’ Michael said.

Snoop put a gold chain around Michael’s neck.

‘I had to have him Gwen,’ Snoop said.

As a fervent admirer, I, Jamison Puckett, the 34-year-old melodist hailing from the heart of Memphis, took the stage and rendered Faithfully by Journey. My performance was so captivating that it moved none other than Michael and Reba to turn their chairs around in awe, hoping to secure my talent on their teams.

‘You have so much potential,’ Gwen said.

‘I’m deeply unhappy because Reba turned too,’ Michael said. ‘And I’m so tired of this. I truly am.’

Michael playfully suggested he was engaged in some sort of friendly competition with Reba McEntire. Michael was thrilled when he was chosen by him.

‘Thank you for taking it easy on me Reba,’ Michael said.

34-year-old Zach Foreman, proprietor of a coffee shop in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, performed Jake Owen’s popular song “Eight Seconds Ride.” Regrettably, none of the judges responded by turning their chairs. Michael encouraged him to persist with his efforts.

Gabrielle Zabosky, aged 25 and hailing from the quaint town of Oxford, Pennsylvania, performed Kelly Clarkson’s popular song “Mr. Know It All.” She revealed that she spent her childhood in a mobile home along with her four other siblings.

‘At the end of the day you don’t need stuff to be happy,’ Gabrielle said.

Gabrielle shared that during her time at Walmart, she created singing videos which sparked her ambition within the music industry. Remarkably, she secured a spot with four rotating chairs turned by the judges, but unfortunately, Snoop was blocked by Reba.

‘Hold on I got a four chair turn!’ Gabrielle said shocked.

Gwen remarked, “You have an untouched brilliance, like an unpolished diamond.” She added, “From what I’ve heard, there are several areas where I could offer guidance and support if given the chance.

Gwen stated that she had come with the intention of assisting individuals who harbor dreams. Whenever Michael began spinning false tales, Reba would activate a device that broadcasted a tune titled “You Lie.

‘I think I’m going to have to go with my girl Gwen,’ Gabrielle said.

23-year-old worship leader Christina Eagle, hailing from Catawba, North Carolina, delivered a stirring rendition of Lainey Wilson’s Wildflowers and Wild Horses. At the very last moment, this performance moved Snoop to press his button, making her his choice. Since he was the only one who reacted, she was quickly selected.

Prior to her performance, Christina revealed that tragically, both her biological father and mother had passed away in separate car accidents before she was even born and when she was only one year old respectively. However, her grandparents took care of her thereafter and brought her up. She choked back tears as she expressed her hope that her mother would be proud of her accomplishments at this moment.

Snoop stated that he pressed the button due to the high energy level surrounding him, his curiosity got the better of him. He’s drawn to the enthusiasm and is eager to contribute. What he desires isn’t flawlessness but the authenticity you possess.

She picked Snoop.

On the particular night in question, the youngest participant, 13-year-old Jaukeem Fortson from Elberton, Georgia, performed Adele’s “Easy on Me.” Almost instantaneously, Michael, Snoop, and Reba swiveled their chairs to face him.

Wow, you really impressed me today,” Reba remarked. “I can tell that you’re here to stay. I’d be thrilled if you could join my team.

‘I couldn’t turn fast enough,’ Michael said. ‘We all want you badly on our team.’

Jaukeem picked Reba.

‘I could not believe Jaukeem chose me,’ Reba said. ‘I think we are going to have a blast together.’

Kourtney White, 37, from McKinney, Texas went next and sang Remedy.

Despite her wish for the audition chair to spin, sadly it didn’t happen as planned. However, Gwen encouraged her not to leave feeling disheartened instead.

Reba assembled a formidable team on her own and additionally recruited Kevin James Graham, age 33, hailing from Boston, who performed ‘Stay with Me’.

The Voice will return next Monday on NBC.
