Dancing with the Stars season 33 week 3 Night 2 scorecard: Who went home on DWTS? (Live updates)

As a seasoned gamer of Dancing with the Stars, I must say that this season 33 is truly rocking my world! The Hair Metal Night was a blast from the past and brought back memories of headbanging to my favorite tunes.

“Let’s journey together as I bring you real-time updates on the evolving dance moves, scores, and eliminations for Dancing with the Stars right here!”

On Tuesday, October 8, Dancing with the Stars’ season 33 moved forward into its third week, with Night 2 focusing on “Hair Metal Night.” This week saw an extended sequence of performances due to a double night. The previous evening was themed “Soul Train Night,” and Rosie Perez served as a guest judge. For this metal-themed event, Gene Simmons, the bassist and co-lead singer from Kiss, took his seat on the panel alongside regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tronioli.

On the first night, no one was dismissed. The total scores from that night were combined with those from Night 2, along with fan votes, to determine who would be eliminated. In case you missed the second night’s performances, don’t worry! We’ve got all the dance styles, songs, and scores for each team right here. At the end, we’ll disclose who had to leave the competition.

heads up! If you haven’t watched Dancing with the Stars season 33, week 3 night 2 yet, be aware that there are spoilers ahead. You might want to catch up by streaming the episode on Disney+ before continuing to read.

Danny and Witney’s week 3 night 2 score is 30

Danny and Witney initiated the evening with a paso doble set to “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi. Their act was decent overall, but it had room for more excitement – a point not lost on the judges. While most judges awarded him a seven, Gene Simmons, in high spirits, gave a nine.

Reginald and Emma’s week 3 night 2 score is 21

Dear Reginald, looks like this could be your last week. Let’s give him a break since he bravely took on this challenge from the start. Despite his best efforts, he barely moved during the dance. Partnered with Emma, they cha-cha-cha’d to “I Wanna Rock” by Twisted Sister.

Chandler and Brandon’s week 3 night 2 score is 33

Following a lively performance by Reginald and Emma, Chandler and Brandon invigorated the gathering with their energetic jive to “We’re Not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister. Chandler was fantastic during her dance; she put in maximum effort and it was evident. However, I found it disappointing that she received harsh criticism from the judges, as if they hadn’t been paying attention. Regardless, a score of 33 is impressive, so I’m thrilled for this pair!

Brooks and Gleb’s week 3 night 2 score is 33

It seems like Brooks and his partner Gleb might be overemphasizing their attractiveness in their performances, at least that’s my take on it. I believe this approach isn’t resonating with the judges. Unfortunately, week 3 night 1 didn’t turn out so great for them, but they showed significant improvement during night 2. They performed a cha-cha-cha to “Nothing’ But a Good Time” by Poison and earned a score of 33 points in total.

Stephen and Rylee’s week 3 night 2 score is 33

Among all the couples this season, Stephen and Rylee stand out as my top pick! Admittedly, I’ve expressed similar sentiments about other pairs, but let me assure you, it’s not a simple task! This week, they truly shone. One fact remains undeniable: they are an absolute delight to watch as they dance. In their performance this week, Stephen and Rylee danced the foxtrot to “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake.

Dwight and Daniella’s week 3 night 2 score is 29

What a turnaround! Monday’s (Soul Train Night) wasn’t their best showing for Dwight and Daniella, but they pressed on for Night 2! They danced the paso doble to “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith this time around. The pair received a 29, which I believe is lower than what they truly deserved, but there was definitely improvement.

Eric and Britt’s week 3 night 2 score is 22

Oh dear! Eric and Britt’s dance wasn’t quite up to par. Similar to Reginald, it seems like Eric should take a break at home. The pair danced the paso doble to “Cherry Pie” by Warrant, yet despite Eric giving his utmost as he usually does, the performance didn’t manage to win over the judges.

More to come…
