As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for cinema and its pioneers, witnessing Martin Scorsese receive the Lifetime Achievement Award Stella in Turin was truly an inspiring moment. At 81 years old, the legendary director continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his unparalleled storytelling and cinematic vision.

On Monday, Martin Scorsese was accompanied by his daughter at the red carpet event in Turin, where he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award Stella.

At the yearly award event, the 81-year-old celebrity and 24-year-old Francesca maintained a proximity to each other while having their pictures taken.

For the event, the Academy Award-winning filmmaker presented an elegant image in a traditional black suit and necktie adorned with a bow.

Apart from that, he put on a crisp white long-sleeved shirt with buttons and accessorized with a sleek pair of polished black leather footwear, thereby finishing his outfit.

Francesca, known for her role in the HBO series “We Are Who We Are,” sported a look with soft, flowing waves in her hair.

The TikTok star appeared in high spirits as she spent time with her father during the star-studded affair.

Later in the night Martin collected the Museum of Cinema’s prestigious Stella della Mole award.

He was honoured by the Italian National Cinema Museum for his contribution to the growth of cinema.

Martin said the award was particularly dear to him due to his love of Italian cinema.

He shared that since he first watched Rossellini’s Paisà on TV around 70 years ago, while sitting with his grandparents and parents, Italian cinema has occupied a deeply cherished spot in his heart. It’s been a powerful presence, offering guidance, support, and motivation throughout his career as a filmmaker.

Receiving this honor at this point in my life, amidst the stunning surroundings of a museum in Turin devoted to a cherished passion of mine, Italian cinema, holds immense significance for me.

It comes after Martin revealed that he still feels like he has ‘more films to make’.

The director has played down any suggestion of retirement as he has no plans to stop anytime soon.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, he stated at the Turin Film Festival that he is not bidding farewell to the world of cinema in any way.

‘I still have more films to make, and I hope God gives me the strength to make them.’

The remarks he made came after news broke out that the movies he intended to make on Jesus and Frank Sinatra had been delayed.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the renowned director has been forced to postpone the production of not one but two movies that he intended to film consecutively in 2021.

It was anticipated that the film adaptation of Jesus’ Life would start production initially, but a source close to the matter confirmed to Variety that the project is indeed ongoing.

No cast members have been announced and Martin is said to be financing the project independently.

The film will only last 80 minutes and is centred on the principles of Jesus’ core teachings.

He stated: “Currently, the term ‘religion’ often sparks controversy due to its perceived shortcomings or failures by many.

‘But that doesn’t mean necessarily that the initial impulse was wrong.

‘How about we reconsider this? It doesn’t have to be your final decision, but it could significantly impact how you lead your life – including choosing not to follow through with it. Let me emphasize that I’m merely suggesting you give it some thought before making a hasty judgment.’
