Phillip Schofield ‘reported Holly Willoughby to senior ITV bosses’ after she refused to back him – as it emerges he calls her ‘The Witch’ and blames HER for his This Morning downfall

Allies of the fallen television host claim he believed Holly Willoughby and a high-ranking executive at This Morning orchestrated a carefully planned takeover, which was evident to many as they watched him experience a public downfall.

62-year-old Schofield parted ways with This Morning last May after prolonged rumors about strain in his professional bond with Ms. Willoughby. Subsequently, he confessed to an extramarital relationship with a junior coworker, leading to his departure from ITV entirely.

Once upon a time, they were the closest of friends, their families sharing yearly vacations. However, it seems that an old grudge has flared up again, as Schofield now refers to his former confidant as ‘the enchantress.’

According to reports, Schofield allegedly informed Ms. Willoughby that her actions were the reason he stepped down from This Morning prior to his resignation.

Following his WhatsApp message, it seems that Ms. Willoughby responded by saying she was clueless regarding the current situation.

According to Schofield’s friends, he was deeply troubled and chose to bring the matter to the attention of two high-ranking ITV executives regarding Ms. Willoughby. We have reached out to ITV for a response.

According to a source, Philip viewed her as more than just a friend – he often referred to her as his “TV sister.” He had always supported her, even going so far as to recommend her for the jungle. The absence of public backing from her was seen by him as particularly hurtful.

Furthermore, he had lied about this matter to The Mail, only confessing the truth in a statement addressed to us in May of last year.

According to a source, Phil has openly deceived people in the past and is known for telling untruths. Therefore, anything he claims should be approached with caution. It’s important to remember that he has been dishonest with his colleagues, employers, and the media.

After whispers suggesting a rift between them in May, Schofield left Ms. Willoughby disheartened when he publicly addressed their friendship’s state.

Schofield stood down from This Morning days later on May 20.

He claimed the third ‘is just brand-orientated’, adding: ‘Not what you expect, not what you think you’re going to get.’

According to a report by The Sun, Phil alleges that Holly and their supervisor Martin from This Morning orchestrated a planned takeover to have him fired, following the imprisonment of his sibling Timothy, who was a pedophile.

It’s been claimed that Phil now calls his former close friend Holly by the nickname ‘the enchantress’, and he supposedly uses a witch symbol when talking about her to his group of friends.

According to some sources, it is said that Phil asked Martin not to take him and Holly to view the Queen’s casket for their ITV program, a request that ultimately led to the unwanted attention of the ‘queue-gate’ scandal.

When reached out to by TopMob for a statement, Holly’s representatives chose not to provide any comments. We have also reached out to ITV for their thoughts on the matter.

It has also been claimed today that Holly allegedly ‘knew’ about Schofield’s paedophile brother in the build-up to his court case.

As a lifestyle expert, I find it essential to stand by those in need, especially when they are facing difficult times. Before the trial, I had been there for my former colleague, offering him my unwavering support, even though I was taken aback by the criminal actions of his brother Timothy, which had initially caught me off guard.

In the month of April 2023, Philip’s 54-year-old sibling was found guilty of 11 instances of sexually inappropriate behavior towards a minor that occurred between October 2016 and October 2019. This included two offenses related to sexual misconduct with a child.

According to The Mirror, Philip informed Holly about Timothy’s arrest in 2021, a full month later, and she was highly commended for her exceptional support throughout his ordeal.

A friend told the publication: ‘There is a narrative – uncorrected by Holly’s team – that she was blindsided by news of his brother’s court case and was furious with him for keeping her in the dark about it. 

‘But that narrative couldn’t be further from the truth.’

However, once it appeared detrimental for her personal image, Holly promptly distanced herself from the ex-host of This Morning, Timothy, during his trial in May.

A source shared with TopMob that Holly finds these allegations frustrating, firmly stating that they hold no basis in reality whatsoever.

According to the Sun, Holly began to create a barrier between them as she recognized that this action might harm her reputation.

My friend shared with the media: “Phil believes he was fired due to negative publicity concerning his brother, Tim. It’s common knowledge that Tim is known by many, even Holly.

At “This Morning”, they possessed a private makeup room named ‘The Sanctuary’. It was here that Phil initially gathered his close confidants, which included Holly, to share the sad news of his brother’s passing. With tears in his eyes, he disclosed this heartfelt information. Holly showed immense compassion by holding his hand and offering comfort during this difficult time.

Phil believes she kept a professional distance from the situation due to its negative impact on her image, yet she privately backed him up and was appalled by his brother’s actions.
