Knots Landing star Donna Mills, 83, reveals her daughter Chloe, 30, is pregnant: ‘My baby girl is having a baby!’

Donna Mills shared some happy news on Instagram on Sunday.
On Instagram, the 83-year-old actress from Knot’s Landing announced that her daughter, Chloe, is expecting a baby boy.

We recently hosted a dreamy baby shower for her, and I can hardly contain my excitement for the little one joining us. Just as deeply as I adore her, I know I’ll cherish the new arrival with the same love.
The blonde posted a photo of 30-year-old Chloe with her bump as she was with her partner Travis Collings, who works in real estate.
They were at her baby shower where all the decorations were pale blue.
At the age of 54, Mills took on the role of a new mother for the very first time when she welcomed her baby girl, Chloe, into her family in 1994 through adoption.
In an interview with People magazine, the actress, who gained fame for portraying cunning character Abby Fairgate on the Dallas spinoff Knots Landing from 1980 to 1989, discussed why she chose to become a mother in her 50s.
In the actor’s own words, they had been deeply focused on their professional life, yet at some stage, they found themselves recognizing an emptiness – what they ultimately discovered was the desire for a child.
She continued, ‘So I went after it. I adopted her when she was four days old.’
At that point, I was 54 years old, and some folks had commented, “With a toddler at your age, you’ll feel quite elderly.” However, Donna asserted, “I never shared that sentiment.
‘I never felt older than the other mothers who were probably in their 20s.’
The Emmy Award-winning figure shared her thoughts with the news platform, suggesting that individuals seeking a career should consider delaying parenthood until later stages of their lives.
She shared with the public, “For those seeking advancement in their careers, I personally think it’s more beneficial to have a child later on rather than earlier.
After leaving Knots Landing, Donna opted for a 18-year break from regular acting roles to dedicate her time to bringing up Chloe instead. This is what she shared in interviews on television and guest appearances.
She shared with People that for a span of 18 years, she wasn’t employed. However, during the initial couple of years, she did engage in some form of work.
She explained, “I worked on TV shows and similar projects, as it allowed me to bring her along with me wherever I traveled.
However, once she began attending school, I found myself unable to travel out of town for extended periods of two months at a stretch. Furthermore, I didn’t embark on the journey of parenthood to hand my child over to a nanny.
The actress from “Play Misty For Me” mentioned that she maintains a strong relationship with her daughter, who is currently 27 years old.
Donna said, ‘We see each other at least once a week and we talk every day or text.’
The actress returned to daytime television in 2014 when she was cast in a recurring guest-starring role on the ABC soap General Hospital.
At the 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards, she was awarded Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series due to her exceptional performance.
Over the past few years, Donna has continued to act in television, movies and theater.

In an interview with People, this native of Chicago likewise disclosed a few secrets she uses to preserve her timeless charm.
The elderly person mentioned that they exercise daily as a regular habit. Being a former dancer, they’ve set up a ballet bar at their small home gym, and recently received a Peloton bike as a gift.
She added, ‘I do weight training and a lot of stretching.’
Regarding her diet, Donna stated that she has consistently chosen healthier foods. She avoids consuming sugar, pasta, and starchy foods.
She went on to say, ‘I mainly consume proteins and vegetables, with a particular fondness for ones I grow myself – kale, arugula, tomatoes. There’s nothing more delightful to me than enjoying them straight from the vine. Cooking isn’t really my strong suit, but I do excel at making cheesecake.’
Donna advised People that when it comes to skincare, the most important thing is to avoid excessive sun exposure as it significantly affects your skin. Someone inquired about why she hasn’t had any cosmetic enhancements, and her response was that she prefers to have natural lines on her face rather than resembling a duck with plastic surgery.
